Replaced my speedo-sensor o-ring (thanks mud!) to stop a small leak in the TC. Topped off the TC.
Decided to check the level on the front diff since i have a small leak at the pinion and found it 2 quarts low! WTF? I know it didn't leak THAT much. Must not have been properly filled by the mechanic that re-geared and rebuilt my front axle. I can't think of any other way it could be that low. If i lost that much fluid it would be everywhere. All i have is a little moisture at the pinion.Just goes to show: DIY!
So i decided to drain and refill both diffs. Extended my diff breathers while i was at it.![]()
Played in mud![]()
Went wheeling, actually we did some volunteer work with the forest service.
Where was this at?
Did some snow wheeling, a ton of winching, and got some body damage. All good fun minus the dent in the door. Also had a caliper bolt come out going downhill, put a new one in and all was good, but very well could have been disastrous if I hadn't heard the caliper grinding on my wheel.
