It is tight. You must use the factory battery clamps; I bought to LCP clamps but wont work with the larger batteries, and now I can't use them. I need to reconfigure my wiring as well. I had a support bracket fabbed up by Send Cut Send to hold a 500A distribution block and two fuse holders that will reside just in front of the main battery to better organize the cables. Will post up photos once done. Possibly able to have it done over Thanksgiving.

I almost did this same thing a couple years ago with the headlights on my 2003 Dodge Ram, but ended up buying a pair of new ones on Amazon for less than $100 shipped.

I ended up going with the TOYO A/Ts in 315/35 after two sets of the M/Ts, which I really liked. Definitely quieter, and likely somewhat less rolling resistance.
 
Anyone want to buy a 1997 Land Cruiser Collector's Edition 3X locked ? $6300! 🤡 That's what @progressive is offering me for my recently stolen rig! What the actual ****! Can you imagine being able to buy these for that price? This is unacceptable and insulting. Getting ready for a fight on this one.
Everyone was right saying this is going to be shock and a fight.

Was your insurance "agreed upon price" or just the regular "full coverage insurance"?

I paid the "agreed upon 25k" insurance but that i know it's not guaranteed a full pay out.

As much as I hate to say it, you might want too see what a lawyer can do.. There might be a bad faith case against your insurance company.

Absolutely..I'm thinking about doing this. I just have to research who would be best suited for this. Maybe I'll start a different thread discussing this.

I have a lawyer working on a claim now and it sucks, the insurance co pulls all kinds of s*** using used parts to fix my car and of course the dip sh--- that hit us was under insured so we have to go after my insurance co under insured claim. the other BS part is it lowers the resale value called diminished value which I cant do anything about. good thing I never want to sell it but still. maybe you can tell I am sick of being the guy that pays all my bills, insurance and taxes but still gets screwed. I am so bummed for you because I know what it feels like. Funny stuff for you. I parked my LC80 the other day at HOME DEPOT way out in the lot and I just watched to see if some dumb ass tried to take it.. I wanted them to try... even left it unlocked..

Trying to find something good in this situation I’m reminded how often the coolest vehicles end up being built to the owner’s dream specs after a wreck. As long as I have to do this, I might as well do that, and if we’re going that far…
 
Spent the weekend in OR. Crossed the mountains in a snow storm at night. Slept on top of a mountain over Klamath Lake. Jerrycan outside froze solid. Got 1150 miles with fuel on board. 23 mpg. Never fill diesel in CA.

Insurance companies will not accept auction sites for comparables.

@nigelsiam they will tell you the comparables have to be within 250 miles. Your next step is to have them send you comparables. Everything they send will not be equal to your rig and you can shoot down their comparables, ie that is rusty and mine isn't, that is not a collectors edition, that has been wrecked and mine hasn't. Than when they start showing you comparables from farther than 250 miles call them out and demand they accept your comparables from further than 250 miles.

Plan on rejecting at least 5 offers 🤣 🤣 🤣 be patient and keep watching for good comparables. The classifieds on this website is probably one of your best options.
