Went back to the stock size Michelin tire from an LT E. For lake duty in SC it's perfect, and the truck rides so nice again.

Also finally replaced the cracked original windshield. Non-OEM glass but with the correct Toyota gasket. Installed by "cowboy" out of Anderson SC.

I posted previously about my OEM sending unit for oil pressure being anxiety inducing.

This is idle.

What weight oil do you run? This might be a sign of a bad pressure sending unit or your crank and main bearing might be out of spec causing the lower pressure. If you try a heavier weight oil what does it do to your pressure?

Mine is the same with an all new engine rebuild. I don’t pay much attention to it. Low oil pressure is probably one of the most common threads

I've tested it mechanically. I have phenomenal oil pressure compared to fsm specs and the sending unit is new OEM. They're just ass

I agree. It's just annoying.

25 at warm idle and 67 at 3000 rpm says oil pressure is good.

Are you using oversized pistons in all your rebuilds or just this one? I saw the .50 on the piston and was curious. Does Toyota make a flat top piston if so why not use them, or is there not enough valve clearance.
All rebuilds get bored with new .50mm pistons. Toyota does not offer a flat top piston.

Riding in a stock 80 with the original spec'd tires is amazing. So smooth, and feels so quick even coming from something as benign as a 33" tire.
