Dug it out and drove it.

Usually I get to have a little fun and get it stuck before I have to dig it out. Digging the rig from a storm sucks 😠 I need a garage asap

How do you like that setup? I've been thinking about that kit for awhile! 😄
I like it a lot. The main part of the WeBoost will get a permanent home soon in the 1/4 panel.

20 min with two box ends and you’re done. 16 bolts/nuts. Pretty easy especially if you’re on stands and can rotate the wheels.
Yeah. Not too bad.

What kind of paint are you using on axles and diffs? It looks so good!
I believe he said in a prior post that it's a 2 part urethane. If you don't have the infrastructure to spray it you can by 2k rattle cans in gloss black - I've had great results with them as well

Where do I sign up for one?
You are the second to inquire about purchasing. Currently I'm only making them for myself and family. Maybe I should consider selling some. I'm flattered that you guys like it! Thanks!

Got out with the wife for some quick snow camping outside Bishop. Was cold but a great time.
The truck picked up a bit of a grinding sound when the wheel is turned right and under power though...need to dig into that. :hmm:
I had it once before but it turned out to be rocks stuck between the cats and the White Knuckle sliders, but I didn't see anything there when I looked this time.

Are those hail dents? OUCH.

We get acorn dents. Stupid trees.
Yeah, they are from the rigs previous life in Colorado.

So yesterday morning the truck was completely dead with nothing registering on the dash, no voltage on the dash, no interior lights, no horn, no door locks.

24 hrs on the $18 dollar Napa special charger and I hooked the battery back up and it fired right up this morning.

Than I saw this. Definitely new to my knowledge and I am sure this is the culprit.

I am going for a long drive now and than I will remove the bulb until spring 🤣
You have a door switch on a rear door that is hanging on. Not a big deal to fix, just need to figure out which one.

All,
I decided to grease the u joints on the drive shafts and got both sleeve yokes done as well (3-4 pumps only) I got the front u joint of the front DS and the rear u joint of the rear DS. The rear u joint of the front DS was at a bad angle so the zerk fitting I was unable to get a good join. The front u joint of the rear DS however, the grease just oozed out near the zerk fitting. I might have had a bad join on the zerk due to the angle (my grease gun has a straight metal tube instead of a flexible version) but is it possible that the zerk fitting is “closed”? Any ideas? Is the zerk fitting clogged possibly? Thanks.
Just install a needle tip on your grease gun and you can get all of them easily.

Gave the dirty piggy a wash
