Nothing like that enforced in Tennessee. (That I've ever been aware of) Where they do enforce it in TN, is on Federal Property (such as the shores of federally controlled waterways), and State Parks.
Yeah, Utah is like 80% public land (federal land). I think Tennessee is about 10% public land.

Just waiting for the battery to charge and going to try and start it up! Been 3 1/2 years since it’s been moved by its own power. Hopefully the fresh engine will give it another 25 years of service.

All,
I decided to grease the u joints on the drive shafts and got both sleeve yokes done as well (3-4 pumps only) I got the front u joint of the front DS and the rear u joint of the rear DS. The rear u joint of the front DS was at a bad angle so the zerk fitting I was unable to get a good join. The front u joint of the rear DS however, the grease just oozed out near the zerk fitting. I might have had a bad join on the zerk due to the angle (my grease gun has a straight metal tube instead of a flexible version) but is it possible that the zerk fitting is “closed”? Any ideas? Is the zerk fitting clogged possibly? Thanks.

That was the reason why I replaced the rear DS due to not able to grease the U joint. Plus the OEM DS had 265k-it was about time

I almost always remove the driveshaft to grease them. Much better results plus you can properly grease the yokes this way.

Ok, removing both drive shafts seems like an involved process. If I am going to remove both, I might as well replace all of the u joints while I am at it. I read in another thread about the sleeve yokes. Another project yay!

20 min with two box ends and you’re done. 16 bolts/nuts. Pretty easy especially if you’re on stands and can rotate the wheels.
