Cruiser and I jumped in the LX for a little morning pew pew session. First time suppressing 45-70, 10mm and 22 CB Shorts. Temps were in the single digits so didn’t stay long.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. I grew up about 45 minutes from there on Signal Mountain, so I'm very familiar with the area. I used to take my Samurai and my Toyota pickup there when I was young.
Actually to my ears they were louder than CCI Quiets when I shot them back to back.

Haha thanks! It was a culmination of battling the frustration. Only thing better would be a 12v heating pad wrapped around the fuel filter housing that ran once the truck was started.
I day dream of swapping an M57 into my LX450 one day… Sadly I don’t have the skill, time, space, or money. But maybe, one day…

Chased down some issues this southern Colorado cold has brought out of my warm blooded desert truck. Nothing major but just random little things: Hood struts, hatch struts, radiator cap, trans cooler hoses.
I’m more than impressed with it in the snow/ice. Last year I had my Ram Powerwagon up here and that thing was slipping and sliding all over the mountain. I had to winch myself up the driveway more than once. The 80 has yet to even slip a tire coming up. The Ram had 35” Duratracs and the 80 has 33” patagonia XTs.
