No cruise control on mine either. Not sure if cruise control is legal in Japan.
I have it too. It's limited to 110 km/h though on my '97, though with 35s I can get it up to an actual speed of 120 km/h (75mph)

It is. Mine has it. It broke on the road trip

Hand throttle will get up to about 2k rpms only

Odd.... I was able to hold mine at 2400 for over an hour

This is hand throttle on.

Well, l wish mine did! And its brand new, and adjusted to the max.

Disregard...!

I don't know what mine will do in park. But I can go 70-75 and lock it and maintain speed.

Picked up some OEM goodness today. Shocked my dealer got this over night.

My truck isn't running right now so I can't verify but I believe you can either use just the knob with a small range of adjustment, or you can press the pedal down and then lock the RPMs using the knob and I think using that method you can run it at any speed?

I dont believe its good for the cable to pull down the pedal with it. Push w the foot, lock w the cable. Mine maxes out at 2k. I use it for warming up in the winter at 1200rpms. I think if l could use it as cruise control l'd forget and end up breaking it eventually. For esthetics l wish there was an engine w/ a round arrow icon, to represent engine rpms, rather than a choke icon on the knob. It aint no choke!

Not what I did to an 80 this weekend, but it is in fact my first cruiser! Grew up around them for a majority of my life. My uncle Casey AKA potato launcher and my dad Tim AKA bombcity are the main reasons. However Solid Axle Summit is why I’ve desperately been hunting. So here she is!
Huge thanks to Spurlock for making this come true.

YAYYY!!! Congrats!! Viva SAS!

Replaced rear calipers and master cylinder today. I've been going back through and removing non-OEM brake parts with OEM. I did the front calipers a few week ago. The NRS strap is holding a Bilstein shock in a compressed mode so that I could access the caliper mounting bolts. I used small scissor jack to compress the shock then strap it up to the coil spring.

9.5 quarts of oil
Fuel filter
Can of diesel purge

Time to trouble shoot the cruise

That was fast, what was it?

Well I followed the fsm method 1 because I wasn't getting a code.

The a/d is supposed to blink above 40 km/h. It doesn't.
The fsm said speed circuit. So I started in there. First step was to take the connector apart and verify pin 3 goes to ground.

The connector was already apart.
So I plugged it in.
