Spent the last week doing cleaning up and post trip maintenance. Wheeled at windrock most of last week attending GSMTR2023.
Pressure washed for 2 hours to get all the mud off the undercarriage. Changed the oil and filter and changed the trans fluid.
Still waiting on the new throttle cable assembly from Toyota and the truck is ready for the next trip.

I am heading down to Knoxville from Ohio next month on vacation. A buddy of mine lives 20 mins from WR. Excited to check it out. Probably head to Royal Blue as well.
Not for myself, but for a local FB group member's 80 series. Used my own rig for mock up reasons.
Made an amp/crossover mount utilizing the 3rd row seating.
Started with the "skeleton" which acts as the initial mounting platform for both the mounts and MDF. Cut on the CNC plasma table making this a 5 minute job from drawing to cutting.
Cut and bent the necessary mounting brackets to utilize the pre-existing mounting points. Press brake making easy work of 1/8" steel.
Just mocking up how it'll sit; level with the window with enough room behind as the openings serve as space for each of the 4 crossovers. This will keep all the wires hidden behind the setup.
Bending 1/2" rod sucks, but enough heat makes it doable on a vice. Not pictures of that but here it is tacked up.
Final product welded up.
I'm not doing the stereo install, just the making of this mount.
He'll need three more (for the other side and for his other Land Cruiser) so it'll just go that much quicker next time.
If I get pics of his install, I'll post them up here.

So, I looked into the Snap-On, MAC, Capri, and HF versions of extractor wrenches. That day (Monday June 19) ended up ordering 1 MAC 10mm and a set of the Capri's. The Capri's were an Amazon 1 day delivery, the Mac arrived today (Sat June 24) . Tried both wrenches... MAC, no dice. The Capri's wave box end were the winner here because I could get just enough swing/angle to avoid the upper control arm. Still required a bit of maneuvering and jacking up the body and unbolting the line/bracket attached to the upper control arm helped. Once the wrench had a bite - some inward pressure and a rap with a hammer cracked them loose.
Locker came off fine, opened up the locker cover, pretty clean, opened up the motor - magnets came loose, but other than that pretty clean. So, off to clean that up, glue the magnets, RTV, and dig up some new bolts and get it sorted. Also ordered a CDL switch which arrived today, so feelin' good!
Headed out to Hidden Falls with my wife and my son. I was all set to share video shot with my GoPro but I lost it somewhere on Slither or Bronco Buster. Damn it! I had attached it to my ARB front bumper with the suction cup mount. I’ve used that mount to secure it to motorcycles I road waaayyyy over 100mph. Oh well. Live and learn.
It was my first time taking the truck out since it’s been triple locked. I could not be more pleased with the way the Eaton E-Lockers performed. It also my first chance to put my WKOF skid plate and sliders to good use. I used them to pivot on a couple of obstacles. Again, they worked great.

Let this one drive it for her first drive ever.
Tested out the kayak mount, bike mount, loaded 100's of pounds of unnecessary crap and headed to the hills.
Only slightly disappointing part is the Dobinson MMR shocks and tapered coils. Clearly made for a very light setup.

That’s my kind of set up! Out there doing things other than being behind the wheel.
Treated her to a full new exhaust system from the manifolds back and all new upgraded rear control arms.
Previous owner did a few wacky things with the exhaust. Those things finally failed and I’m pretty sure the original muffler from ‘97 was still on it. I’ll eventually make my own exhaust from the cat back, but in the meantime this the finest rock auto exhaust money can buy. Lol
Your second cat is in backwards. They should both be in the same plane.
