Got a laugh out of your chop! It’s a mom and pop family run corner market and last chance fuel before you enter the off road park country side
I pipe dreamed up this little 80 series community tribute to make folks smile
However they did run out of underground tanks Fuel ran dry
And I know it was all your AUX Tanks to Blane![]()
Your car just hit puberty....
Is that a 105 import, or did someone sas their 100?
He added the front solid axle.Is that a 105 import, or did someone sas their 100?
And hiding the fact that your “D” light is out. Clever. That’s gonna destroy your resale value.
Nice catch. I did not notice that it was a solid axle.Is that a 105 import, or did someone sas their 100?
What pads did you go with? I am using the Power Stop Extreme pads designed for towing/off road and I love them. The bite is a lot better then the previous pads I have gone with (Autozone).I’ve been procrastinating. Dodged a bullet.

I'm doing the rears on mine today. Mine was grinding on the Left rear. I threw in a "cheap set" from O'Reilly's to get me by until I can get all new Toyota calipers, LSPV, and new pads and rotors and hoses. I have 100K miles on this set of hoses and axle rebuild, so it's time.I’ve been procrastinating. Dodged a bullet.

These. The PO had 100 Series pads in there. Brake fluid in the reservoir was pretty dark. I should probably flush the system. Again. And why was there bits of glass in that strainer thingie? What pads did you go with? I am using the Power Stop Extreme pads designed for towing/off road and I love them. I have been running Auto Zone Duralast Gold 100 series pads up front of my 80 for about 8 years with zero issue. Many folks run the 100 series pads with the same result. I believe that even @cruiserdan chimed in on this one a while back saying he was for it as well. Just inspected my pads and rotors yesterday and they are all still nice, smooth and evenly worn. The 100 series pads are larger and wear differently then say 80 series pads. The pads overall are larger and do not make full contact with the rotor of a 80. Buy pads for a 80 and live with the smaller pads, or dedicated pads for towing/wheeling like I did.
