i just need new OME coils that are 2" and 440 lbs - that are on the way already.
With air bag helpers (Airlift) you can pump them up when loaded and let them down when not needed.

I have them on mine for a wheelchair lift I carry and I pump them up when loading the 400 LB wheelchair.

I also have the OME 2" lift "heavies" all the way around on my 80.

This will be the next upgrade. Need to check how it goes with new coils :)

You about need lockers on the streets of Jerome, right? 😆. Great area. My son lives in Prescott (goes to ERAU).
Indeed! AND, we saw a hoarder house with 1 FJ55 and two FJ 40 stacked out back, on the edge of a damn cliff. We came in from the Presocott (Preskitt) side yesterday. Hit 7050 feet and found a cool park. Jen got some pics, was an impressive stash for a house on the side of a cliff.

8000 miles later... finally arrived yesterday (yes DHL delivers on Presidents’ Day)

I needed a box to store my cheap lisle race drivers and my Uber wits end driver. nice box to do that it in and some nice extras race drivers. You can feel the difference between a Toyota race driver versus the lisle. Both get the job either way. Picked up some other tools to help me along my 80 series project.

is this the exact part# used with OME springs? I didn't have good experience with airbag helper (different brand, different truck) but willing to give it a go again.

I'm beginning to feel like i need the airbag for my longer trips since the rears sag a tad bit on OME medium.

Coolant flush and new thermostat today. Still no heat coming out the front vents.. So another go at flushing the heater core next weekend.

Check the heater control valve. They are suspect in no heat situations.

For stock spring height, yes.

That said, I have 2" Heavies (OME) on mine and the bags still provide assistance a lot. Airlift has another set that are technically for a different application, but they are 2" longer. The actual part number of those is listed in this forum by another member, and he went through Airlift for application to make sure he got the right thing. Same diameter, just longer.

I bought my set through Summit Racing for $100. I prefer to tee them together, but others prefer a separate line for each side.

While I occasionally covet a RTT - mainly to be able to occasionally sit upright - I am super comfortable on my drawer/sleeping platform/megamat set up. I think I have around 150+ nights sleeping in there. Megamat was worth every penny, I sleep better in my truck than I do at home.

I also prefer to sleep in the truck vs a roof top tent. If I get a thunderstorm I don't have to worry about lightening. It also tends to be warmer on really cold nights.

Working on a DEPO retrofit currently and the LP6s came in a few weeks early!
I’ve got a pair of LP6 headed my way. This is getting me excited!

I've tested them out briefly in the alley but haven't taken them on a drive yet since I'm in the middle of the Retrofit. Let me know if you (or anyone else) has any ideas for security on these. ie: locking bolts that fit with Baja Designs. There is only one bolt on the bottom to connect them with the ARB Bullbar which would worry me if I didn't have a garage.

This is what I'm planning on using when I order mine next month.

I would have placed the jack stands BEHIND the axle on the lower part of the frame so I could roll it out to the front, which is higher. That way I could leave the control arms installed, but if you're prepping and painting, maybe all that's getting pulled...

Just my opinion, man.

That works for securing the light to the mount, but the mount still needs to be securely mounted to the bar. That’s what he’s referring to.
