I really like this!

The only thing I might do for my own purpose is to move the centers of the holes in the front rack together a bit so that all the rods are pointed to the center of the truck and not directly over my head (or the passenger's head). I sit pretty high in the seat and my head would be on those.

What keeps them in their hole when you're hard on the brakes? Will they tend to slide forward and end up in a pile? Or is that what the elastic bungee you're talking about would be for?

I know I answered on my other thread, but for consistency's sake as well =)

You can't really tell from the pics, but I did move the holes on the front rack in a bit to give it more of an angle in toward the front. I probably could have done it a little more though.

And here's a very crude idea of what the bungee would look like. I'm going to drill a hole in the end of the rack and leave enough cord to adjust the tension, then secure the bungee to the rack in between every hole with a staple (blue on the picture), at the bottom of the hole. Then as I install the rod handle, I can stretch the bungee of the handle to hold it down.

alas, I’m assuming there’s not enough space for a 9’ fly rod.

My son and I installed new tie rod, tie rod ends, and drag link ends. Waiting on the OME steering stabilizer to arrive. Big improvement in steering feeling. Great bits from 555 at Cruiser Outfitters.

Removed rear seat belts. Removed Rear panels and cleaned and vacuumed insides. Changed all rear lights so they all finally work. Removed all fender flares (staying off) to get ready to raptor line hopefully soon. Took dogs for a cruise in hills.
Man all that is down the line for me,.,. Have any pics? Busy weekend ;)

Pulled the interior out, fixed a hole in the front floor board and one in the rear wheel well. Dyanmat, new carpet, and seat covers are in progress. I'll post a thread about it when I get done.

10 years ago, my wife got me a Trasharoo. Yesterday, I finally got somewhere to install it!

I'm pretty happy with the latching mechanism too. It was a pain to install and align but feels OEM now that it's done:

can you see part # on the strut for that swing i need one but cant find part # all # r faded

Slapped on a ARB with a M8000 on my daily 80.. Also fabbed up a bracket for a Blue Sea Marine Aux. Fuse block . I bolted it up to an existing bolt that holds the charcoal canister in place... Here are some random pics, will finish the wiring some other time...

Dad found a wolf image he liked online and has been wanting to 3d print it. I asked if he could use it to make some rear speaker covers for the gaping holes back there(grey leather interior). Then while he was working on that a bit later I broke the black triangle pieces covering the mirror bolts (super flimsy and brittle plastic!!)

I think they came out looking great(ASA plastic)! Good tribute and ambience for the car, just monstained it white.

Added some rear bump stops,

Changed to Dobinsons shocks all around. I still like the OME’s, just time for a change.

Changed the diff oil after 500 miles of installing 4.88’s.

Hello. What are your thoughts on this bumper? I am debating between arb, ironman, and dobinson.
I like it a lot. I’ve never owned either ARB or Ironman, but I picked Dobinsons because I like the way it handles the winch better than ARB. I don’t like the fairlead mount that rises up on the front of the ARB. I plan to put a ComeUp Gen2 winch in at some point, so the Dobs works great for me.

Simply had to get out of the house for a bit. Not to far from home there is a scenic, easy drive. A bit gray and gloomy today, but still better than being stuck inside the entire day.
