Swapped out the Duratracs for Patagonia’s. These DT’s are 1 year old, driven into the High Sierra snow pumice & rocks, Mojave sand, across the country off grid Utah, Rockies, to Outer Banks beaches & back again...basically every scenario you can find. First 50% tread life is always great (my third set of DT’s), and then they are done. Extreme choppy out of balance vibrating treadwear on this set led me to try something different, like these Patagonia’s. Time will tell but the 30 miles on em so far is encouraging.
I have been reading good things about those Patagonias. Hope you like em. PS your RTT is still out there kicking ass.

I have been running 35" Wrangler MTR, Kevlar's. Have about 20k miles on them and love em so far!

Yup scx24, the tires size seems to be better for a 1/18 kit, but I might try some aftermarket wheels and tires for it
Nice! I have an SCX10 I want to put a 1/10 body on...

Sold the GFC RTT. While I enjoyed the ease and comfort of that tent, I hated wheelin' with it. Sidehill was terrifying with all the extra body roll. Back to the ground tent with the lady/sleeping inside it solo.

Wow What was the weight of the tent with the rack?

  • UPDATE: replaced sway bar to axle bolts with hitch pins. Next step is to fab up something to hold the sway bar up onto the frame when I disconnect.
  • Finally wired in the 2 outer PIAAs.
  • Sorted out the wiring rats nest.
  • Made bracket for accessory relays (why I don’t throw scrap away!)
  • Installed new firewall grommet using a steering shaft boot I had laying around (why I don’t throw sh1t away!)

Finally replaced all my TRE's. Only the second time using this tool but what a difference it makes.

Adjusted the relay rod and tie rod to the specs in the FSM but was surprised to see how far out my alignment was. Used the @Tools R Us method to adjust alignment. I added a tiny bit of toe in.

Also noticed how much the axle is misaligned from the frame. Might need to look into an adjustable front panhard..

Must be half a tire width of a difference.

How much lift are you running? I have the OME, lift and it seems pretty straight... gonna make me go out and measure!

3" and sitting on 315's. I did the @Delta VS rear panhard correction bracket last year but all I did on the front was put new OEM bushings in it.

Here's what I am seeing with my calibrated eye ball unit... I will have to get my level out and double check. I am also thinking my front springs are worn out.... I have put adjustable bars on all the rigs I have lifted so far. This ole girl came this way and I have not gotten around to rebuilding the suspension just yet. That said there is a lot of value in proper alignment of your axles...

Here is the offset, looks like the left rear is about 3/4 of an inch off... might look into a bracket rather than an adjustable bar. Front looks pretty good though
