Well, to be honest - I don't care. This truck is an HZJ. It's not EU or North America Spec. It does not have any safety features except 3 point belts. No Airbags, no ABS, no ESP - just nothing. I have and want to live with that.
We ordered a couple of days ago a new 150 Land Cruiser Prado that has all the safety features. I do believe that this truck is not available in north america?! Will be posting the build process in the 150 forums and on my youtube channel.

If you use standard conical lug nuts (aka acorn) then you most likely have a '93 or '94 and that's what the rims and hub face calls for.
Be careful using flat washer or shank lug nuts on wheels from different years, they might not center by themselves due to different hub faces and rim fit.
For instance:
I had a set of '95 wheels on my '93 rig and had to use flat washer lug nuts on those wheels and every time I put the tire back on I needed to center it with three (3) conical lug nuts (hub face and wheel did not center) and then apply the washer lug nuts to ensure it's centered. Then back out the conical/acorn lug nuts after it's been centered and put on the other three flat washer lug nuts.
Additionally, I don't exactly remember but you torque the washer style at around 86 ft. lbs and the conical at around 108 ft. lbs.?
Your lug nuts breaking off is probably due to over tightening--air gun at a tire shop probably--I'm guessing. But, someone else on here can tell you if I'm in the right ball park.

This weekend me and the kids went digging in some Geodes beds. About 80 miles down BLM and old pony express roads. In the end we cut a tire and the boys got to learn how to change a tire in the dark. They had a blast! Also I am now convinced more than ever to get a new rear bumper to mount a spare on.

Took Petunia out for second season elk hunting near Kremmling. Great time to try out her new shoes in the snow 
My son and I furthered our efforts to keep my 80 as stock as possible by installing OEM running boards. Also gave her a good vacuuming and put down my unused 100 rear cargo mat.
EDIT: The original 80 rear mat was in horrible shape and not salvageable. I have drawers in my 100 so that mat was just sitting in my garage. I was surprised it fit as well as it did.

Also cleaned things up under the hood.
Found these used Viper (VPR4x4) running boards on FB marketplace and couldn't resist. There are so few Cruiser related parts around here so it was surprising to find these. I'd been wanting to ditch my stock running boards since they looked so rusty and beat. I spent a good part of saturday in the driveway getting them mounted. As usual, I assumed they would fit my LX just the same way they would fit a TLC, and as usual there are enough minimal differences that they don't fit without a lot of swearing and persuasion. I had a hell of a time getting them mounted. Being used, its also possible they were tweaked from wheeling.
I also pulled the plastic trim along the driver side rocker panels to inspect the rust at the back corner and it turns out theres a huge hole there so that was fun to find. I brushed some POR 15 on and covered it back up and I'll forget about it for now.
The worst part about the fitment of the running boards was that one of the mounts was tight against the converter so I ended up shaving it down with the grinder.
Lastly, I didn't love how the bottom of the fender flare looked so I trimmed up the little plastic piece that creates the transition from fender to running board and made it work wit the new setup. I think it tied everything together nicely.
I also had to ditch those big rubber pieces that hang down from the rear doors. They hung up on the running board when you shut the door. Plus they were out of place with the new setup. All finished

There is always next year, I had other activities planned so I wasn’t able to join the festivities or poker run.
With my obvious alignment Problem I kept the speed under 65 on the way home. 10mph less got me shockingly good average MPG on highway 5.
I normally get 11!
Guess the all girl isn’t meant to go faster than 65 miles an hour.
eidt: filled up at Costco before the house and holy MPG Batman! 15.8MPG! Guess I need to adjust my normal cruising speed.
