Went for a woods drive, a little fishing and boiled the kettle

Random errands today. Headed to “the spa” next week for some transfer case work, et cetera.

:hmm:

Second kid is done with college now...

Where does it end? When does it stop? Headed to Atlanta tomorrow to pick up another 97.

Different ride. I prefer my 97.

Finished the bumper mods. Deleted the roller fairlead hanger and the ARB logo plate sticker thing. Bondo + paint. Custom plate bracket cause fairlead is too high. Came out decent I think. Winch to come next.

What bumper are you running? I have an 8274 that I would like to install on my LX.
It is a 4x4 labs front bumber. The fact I could use my 8274 with the 4x4 labs bumper is why I chose Luke's product.

I’m posting a cool app that you can use for your 4x4 journeys. What you see here is a satellite video of my mountain biking trail, and, I realized After almost 2 years I can use this app for 4x4, which is why I’m posting it. Relive 'Morning Ride'

I also camped north of Flagstaff, solo. No campfire due to the fire restrictions. Caught an elk racing me on the control road 300 (aka General Crook Trail).

Made a trip to DC recently and got a chance to visit Land Cruiser Heaven in Hagerstown, MD. I've known Frank (@FloridaFJ80 ) for a couple of years and now have the opportunity to leave my baby with them. Right off the bat they began to diagnose a driveline "groan" I've had for months which numerous shops have scratched their heads over. Meanwhile I drooled over the yard of 40s, 43s, 60s, 70s and 80s. If you find yourself in the area I recommend stopping through. Looking forward to the progress and great to have my truck in capable hands...

What the hell kinda tent is that? Looks like a geodesic dome!

No pictures again, but I removed the throttle body and cleaned it for about an hour. Took and cleaned the idle air control valve, re-adjusted the TPS, replaced the forward small heater hose, didn't have the patience to tackle the rear one. It looked OK. Adjusted all the cables to the throttle body.
Idle and overall performance feels much better than it did before. Not sure which helped.
I do want to replace the o-ring for the IACV.
