Great impromptu performance. I would have been all "Ehhh, Ahhh and Errr's"...:flipoff2:
LOl I live in front of a camera its no biggie, I really wish the ddnt edit the land cruiser barricade part.

Nice save. Side note: Next time let the LEO's use the vehicles owned by the tax payers to block the roadway. Your rig is too sweet for that duty.
to be honest I LOVE MY TURCK and there was the literal "its either me or that truck" talk and well..... But I pulled the ole guy off the hood missed the car as she flew by and was all about stoppig her LEOs are part of my life always have been.

I hear you, good interview man.

Nice, what were you shooting? I can't see it....

Ruger LRP 6.5c wish a bunch of work on it. Also took my hunting rifle out which is a Tikka 7 mag with some upgrades. Handguns were a Redhawk .44 mag and a 686 .357. Going to AK for a caribou hunt in August so starting prep for that.

Started the "cut-slash-hack" on an air to water intercooler for my SC setup to replace the air to air on it now. Once done and test run, it all comes off (supercharger/intercooler) to go on my sister's 80.

I have a harness being built now to integrate a Haltech ecu parallel to the factory ecu. Trigger pull on injectors and turbo should happen very soon. Been talking forever on this and now it is finally go time on the turbo build. It is supposed to be my winter project!

Got my bumper welded and started mocked up on my steering. Using the arp studs/nuts with the slee upper knuckle upgrade/abs delete. Ps pump is replaced too.

See if steering acts differently when i move the one up higher. Before it was fine, but 2” higher may need panhard moved up? Bumpsteer? Eh, play it by ear, i can easily revert and keep my slee knuckles.

Had a busy weekend of wrenching.
  1. Installed Slinky Stage 4 Suspension
  2. Black Hawk Upper/Lower Control arms
  3. Black Hawk HD rear sway bar
  4. Fixed a bunch of oil leaks on the cummins accessories. (Turbo return-gasket, oil pressure sending unit, vacuum pump/PS Pump seals).
  5. Lots of electrical. Wit's end panel install with ML-ACR, Redarc BCDC1225D, Fuse-Panel, ARB Twin compressor etc.
  6. 1/0 AWG cables from engine bay to panel.

Good old SteelHunterFJ80 and I decided to see what these rigs are all about and I must say it was shocking what they can do on the trails. Considering we aren't really modified.. these things stock just rip up the trails.

Oh yeah.. I'm also pushing 322K miles... runs like a champ. No exaggeration.. crazy.

It was damn good pizza too!

Yeah I have custom drawers. The passenger side drawer is designed to be level with the folded down passenger 2nd row seat..I then just throw my xped mat across the top and climb in.
I have pics of the platform/drawers in my build thread...here is one that I have on my phone.

Been busy over the last couple months and have been meaning to post an update!

- Replaced the starter and front window motors/regulators
- Replaced all running lights with LED
- Finally replaced my cracked Slee license plate light with some sweet LED bolts
- Took advantage of CVT's tax sale and mounted up a 99" awning
- Built some magnetic RAM mounts to use some old Rigid SRM diffused LEDs for camp/work lights
- Installed a JDM grab bar
- Added LED courtesy lights to the side mirrors
- Installed Rigid SRQ floods and SRQ diffused LEDs with @yodaTEQ mounts!
- Installed alley cameras into the side mirrors for a new project

...and a 4.88 re-gear with a rear axle re-build

That’s a sweet rig man. Really digging the lights under the awning.

Was out all last week for Spring Break exploring more of Utah with the family. We had plans to get to The Maze but “somebody” @LandCruiserPhil forgot the travel dates, haha. We also got brown water in Goblin Valley before heading East of 24, but found out about it near Hans Flat Station so had to bail out to Green River the last two days. Still an amazing time! 6 days camping solo, 300 miles of dirt, and the Cruiser didn’t even hiccup throughout, as usual.

Had a busy afternoon/evening.
  • Adapted my VHF NMO antenna and extended it out to the end of roof rack.
  • Cleaned up some engine bay wiring.
  • Ran cables from the House battery in the drawers to the Quarter Panel
  • Flipped the PUMA compressor 180 degrees to clear the Speski.
  • Installed the Speski Barrier (had to cut new threads on one welded nut)
  • Ran cables from house battery to bus bars under center console.
  • Wired up the volt meter on the dash to read both start batteries voltage and house battery voltage with a toggle switch.
  • Re-wired PUMA pump to the fuse panel in Quarter panel.
  • Re-wired ARB fridge to the fuse panel.
  • Put the quarter panel plastic back on
  • Put my drawer passenger wing and house battery box lid back on

Hit up Windrock TN for the first time with a couple regulars, and some new guys from Tacoma World. Enjoyed four tanks of over 13mpg there and back, peaking at 13.5mpg with a slight headwind in Indiana heading north, proving that a good tune up really does help. I picked up a peak of 1.5mpg from my fall trip to Flat Nasty in MO. Ended up a little over 1100 miles round trip.
