Ate there for my 3rd, and last, time last night. If y'all like that garbage then y'all don't know what a good burger is!

I figured you’d say Whataburger...

where'd you get that super sick seat cover???

Tibet, I use to work there often and picked up a set one year.

Great looking truck, but why the giant sticker in the middle of the rear window? Seems like that would hamper visibility and perhaps a d-bag cop may ticket you for it.
As long as he has both side mirrors he’s good. And besides, that sticker blocks less window then my spare tire ;).
And I didn’t get pulled over for this...

Spent half the day with a wire brush, pb blaster, and simple green to prep for full axle service. Man it was a mess under there. This truck probably never had the underside cleaned or worked on much since it was new. A blessing and a curse. Surprised it looks as good as it does, expected some rot, but found none (except for the front disc backing plates, those are done). First time I got under her for real, I'm impressed that it looks so good for being so old, and being a NYC 80 it's whole life. Probably was never off road. Original jack and tool kit in the back looks like it has never been opened until today. I'm hooked, original build quality and engineering is cool. It's going to take some $$$ to bring her back, but if there was ever a truck that is worth the effort, it's the 80. I "get it" now.

It is a tight squeeze on a creeper. I was not going to do any lift, but I want to be able to get under her without a jacking. Just signed up as a paying member to mud, don't know when it will show in my profile. probably take a day or two. However, no lag and lock while I'm posting this. :) Edit, membership show right away, cool. Easiest 50 bucks so far for the resurrection.

Washed the 80s. When washing the 93 a guy in the next bat had a Heep. He poked his head around and said “Nice truck. I see it around. Very cool.” I said “thanks. I see yours around too.”

My son couldn’t stop laughing. I didn’t realize I had snubbed his Heep.

Your gold star shows. Welcome! :flipoff2:

Finished up the Tuffy Console install. Want to thank MUD for once again having a solution!
Followed this thread exactly: How to: Install a Tuffy security console in your 80/81...
Used the Tuffy Series II 8” Console. Sku # 012
Painted it to match. Then bought a piece of leather from a local leather shop ($30) then had an upholstey shop stitch it up, also for ($30)!
This is honestly one of my favorite mods to date!

Hey I had a jeep before my car. I loved cherokees since they were my first car. I love my cruiser more though

I still love my CJ7, brought it back from being swamped in hurricane Sandy. But yeah, I've had a 79' CJ, 2 86 CJ7s, and a 2005 Rubicon LJ. I just got my first 80, and as crusty and old as she is, it is just a big level up. Should have done it years ago.

Heeps are cute!
