Started install of my Trail Tailor @reevesci dual swing out rear bumper. Got the old bumper corners off. Pushed/pulled out some trail carnage on the pass rear quarter. As is my motto with the truck “it looks less sh!tty”.

Ditched the spare tire carrier, trailer hitch, rear mud flaps, etc.

The OCD kicked in and I hit the rear cross member with the flap disc and sprayed it. Even though it won’t be seen it didn’t make sense to leave it all scratched up behind the new bumper where I couldn’t get to it.

Tomorrow is bumper install. Hopefully...

What's the attraction with that old design? Bad suspension? No water/wind insulation, noisy, no lockers, no engine, uncomfortable, no room for anything inside?
Looks like an old Jeep. Nothing special there.
Why not a new Wrangler for same stupid money? And you get everything with it too.

View attachment 1572347 View attachment 1572348 View attachment 1572349 View attachment 1572350 View attachment 1572351 Replaced weak factory rear sway bar links with some Landtank links from witsend, Installed a new Inverter sized up the layout for on board air with a dual ARB Installed a tom woods rear driveshaft he was kind enought o re make for a toyota And the national Luna dual battery set up had to make up a braket for the solenoid as it was much larger than the IBS relay.

Im lucky enough to live closeby to Rick @landtank and this guy is a wealth of yota knowledge and making shiite work and yet @witsend @LandCruiserPhil are so far away. lol
