280k, rebuilt 15k miles ago
dont exactly know but guess between 500-1000 miles
no i did not, but changed oil around 1000 miles ago but i dumped 8 qts in there instead of 7.8

As a data point I get 10cc/1000 miles with 185K:meh: not sure if thats good or bad but glad its not making it to my intake.:)

Since there's something in the works for 91-94 I'm interested.

A lofty goal of mine this weekend is to replace the rear shocks and add brake fluid to my res to stop the annoying BRAKE light that comes on more often than not. And maybe try to figure out where the brake fluid is going, if it is.
About to power bleed all four of mine in attempts to make them less squishy.

Started on my new 4x4 Labs back bumper install. So far so good.:wrench::wrench::wrench:

Took a vacation day and finished putting the tc back together after the pt kit install. Sick of waiting after 2 weeks of rain delays. Swapped a battery in the 92' after the one in it died after sitting a month... and immediately blew a brake line directly under the exhaust pipe. Huge cloud of smoke. Luckily no fire.... drove down the road to the firewood in 4 lo. Used neutral to stop..split and loaded trailer....and rolled back home. More work to do. Woot.

First day off in a long time, had som catch up to do:

Oil change (went with Delo 400 this time)
New Battery hold down brackets
Replaced Charcoal Canister
ARB Diff Breathers
New Head lights
New Front Seat Gear
Started applying Fluid Film to the under carriage for winter

No pics because I'm lame. Happy to knock all that crap out though.

Do not attempt to dismantle any weatherproof connector. You will ruin it.

Years ago I had the engine steam cleaned. The detailer I guess accidentally destroyed the AM1 fusible link and didn’t tell me. Did a half assed repair that killed my alternator on a trip to CO and a replacement alternator. I soldered in the AM1 fusible link with the help of @beno and @alia176. Vacation saved. I sourced that part of the wiring harness with the intent of going back to stock. It’s been sitting as is for 5 years or more. Hey, it works.

I’ve developed a no-start problem that I’m pretty sure is the starter. Probably just needs a rebuild. I says to myself “Hey self, why don’t you fix that fusible link?”. Being lazy I thought it would be easier to depin the plug and transfer the terminal over to the existing wiring.

I was wrong, oh so wrong. The little rubber boot is actually really fancy shrink wrap that is fused to the wire. No problem, I reamed it out and will use hot glue to seal it. Crimped the terminal on the wire and try to reassemble the plug. I must have used too much force and destroyed the plug.

If I’d just spliced it in and soldered it, I could have done it in 15 minutes instead of spending an hour and now having to source that part of the wire harness again.

Psychological contentment...

I see you’re wearing the @beno approved safety footwear.
