@1972FJ55 has me all set up for the AC rejuvenation. Now to just get off my lazy butt to get the AC running. I'll be honest, I've never flushed an AC system so I'm still working out the game plan. Rex has given me a ton of advice.

I'm gone from this section for nearly 2 months, and my first post being back I get blasted for my fashion sense....was it because it's a Tommy Bahama parka?

Listen, there is a level of expectation from you. While this post was above average for most, it didn't meet the standard we have come to expect from you.

Good effort. Next time ditch the Hawaiian parka with more traditional Hawaiian wear!

Had to pull out the horn relay because the security system was on the fritz. Way too lazy to do the job of pulling out the alarm, so instead I put in two new horns and wired them to the up/down switch for the antenna which I had long since removed.

Sure they are buttons on the dash, and only work when the car is on, but I have been so sick of not having a horn. Anyway it works great! I also get to only use one horn if I want, or both to really show dumb drivers how much of an idiot they are.

Installed limb risers and rebuilt my rear locker actuator, both with huge props to folks that posted their work here. (Wildyoats, your legacy lives on even though your pics are long gone...:beer:)

Can't thank these folks enough!:cheers::cheers:

Yikes!! Sorry to see that.
Just curious -- how'd that happen?
Believe that was another 'mud guy. The story is somewhere in here. Something to the degree of out with the family, something ignited, family got out but he didn't even have time to get to the fire extinguisher in the back.

I need the same set up for my 93.

A friend showed me around Beaver Gap National Grassland just outside of Rapid City. Did some light wheeling and target shooting. I'm seriously impressed with how capable a LC is in stock form.View attachment 1508997 View attachment 1508998

Agreed. I took my 92 back to stock form about 18-19 years ago after having a 4" lift on it. I love a stock 80. With my 93 I have a 2" lift on it and think that is the max I would ever go again. It just looks "right" to me.

Not my car. Just one I found on Google to validate my statement earlier, but I do sometimes feel like lighting it on fire and walking away. LOL!!

Buy a land rover defender and you'll change your mind very quickly about what car you want to send on fire....
