Now that green I like! When I said I was painting it green, I didn't mean original 97 green. I don't hate that color but I like other greens with less blue and no metallic much better.
Ended last night with body work done, and most taping done.

After a 14 hour day today, and some good help from my daughter, we got the epoxy sealer on it, then made it green. In the early a.m. I will get it out of the shop and on my trailer to haul home and start reassembly. Turned out pretty good. A few runs but it will need a wet sand/polish to get dirt nibs out anyway.

Thanks! Excited to get the trim back on. I'll post pictures of the finished product. Now that green I like!
I put my Gatorade bottles in the same spot.
I've got to get the gears done on my seat. I had it in the rearmost position and kind of forgot about it til my 4'13" kid started driving it while I painted her truck. Oops! These seat gears from the passenger seat would explain no front to back movement. Upon testing before reinstalling the seat I experienced no backward movement, not even a grunt from the motor. I took apart the seat control and discovered the contact points on the rear movement selector were burned. Cleaned up the points with emery cloth, reassembled, tested, and it was good to go. Sorry no pics of the switch disassembled but if you've had the drivers window controller apart, the seat control is very similar except its even less complicated than the window control.

I will gladly trade you a 6bt swap on an 80 for me for an overall paint job for you!Hey I am in need of adoption, to get my Cruiser painted, can I start calling you dad, I am self sufficient, and supporting I can turn a wrench, but don't paint
I will help you seek out a red cruiser if you are ready
Needs to be from Texas.
My buddy tried getting in his before it was bolted on his roof rack. It clamped shut on him and he rode it to the ground. Not pretty.I broke the ladder climbing into the RTT to test and prep for camping. Which was an awkward 6' fall to my concrete patio. So ya, that tree top tent needs a taller ladder.![]()
That would SUCK.My buddy tried getting in his before it was bolted on his roof rack. It clamped shut on him and he rode it to the ground. Not pretty.
He knew it wasn't a good idea but he saw one lousy leaf laying in there when he opened it up, went for it and was eaten by his RTT!That would SUCK.
I am not complaining. But is it seriously possible that the inside of my AC vent is 29°? My scanner measures everything perfectly so I have to believe it. If so, I am chill.

Finished the new leather install. Managed to spread it out over two weeks while I chased a sunroof leak and dropped the running boards and then just got lazy and let it sit for days. View attachment 1473002View attachment 1473004View attachment 1473005
