Rio Vista, Ca...

Replaced old aftermarket double DIN stereo with a new single DIN and pocket. Cleaned/greased rubber window channels all around, replaced motor on driver front, reattached window to motor assembly on driver rear. So nice to have windows that move up and down!

First step in the slowest progression to 37's ever. Just have to ditch the tires for better storage. Picked these up for 200 on Offerup locally.

Sunday at Bump It Off Road. Big thanks to @MikeSmith for allowing @JohnnyOshow22 and myself to check a few more boxes off the Rubithon list. BIO skids, TG diff armor, and 863s on the rear.

Great products, better service! Thanks Mike and John.

Played around with a lathe in the next door building at school/work. Not trying to cut in on @NLXTACY, but we needed some bushing tools. Before Wit's End came out with the full set, @cruiserfj45 had the idea to mill down the ones from HF, so that's what I was doing today.

Made a full set.

Now I just need to get the press busy on @GW Nugget's radius arm bushings. We'll see how the aluminum tools hold up.

No worries on my end, you do you ;)

You might get a bushing or two out of them. Tooling plate is better for pressing and aluminum is good for pressing complicated shapes but for the bushings, and using 6000 Series aluminum you may end up with galling. Just keep an eye on the edge as it gets reused.

In preparation for this weekend's trip I decided to add some padding to the rear cargo area. I used some of that cheap interlocking dense foam for under exercise equipment or garage floors that I had stuffed in a corner.

Left Friday morning to go see a mud member over In Texas. Picked up a nice domestic fridge. I was going for 64 hours.

Then I left again.

Have not had a lot of luck with aluminum but if you are only doing a couple you should be fine. If not looks like you have the tooling to upgrade to steel.

Where do you have your PUMA mounted?

Right now I have it portable. I thought about a mount like yours but haven't committed to anything yet. Still trying to decide if I'm going to make a storage system or not.
