Digging those fender flares, what are they from?

Also what lift do you have?
Flares are custom, fabricated from a set of flares off a Chevy pickup.

Heavy, factory replacement springs. ARB.

Went to Boggin Bunnell and had a ton of fun and broke down on the way back... Transmission leaked almost all its fluid out so I wouldn't move hardly, and power steering was shooting fluid on the brakes causing them to smoke and heat up making me lose my brakes... :(

80s have pretty ridiculous heat. That's for sure. I've never been cold in my 80. Even when we camped in it in the Yukon in -30.

Mine has a built in "hot feet" heater... It's coming from the steering column! Lol.

Thanks for reminding me! I have the gasket thing sitting in my "Bin O' Parts Waiting to be Installed". Maybe I'll get to this today. Or let it sit for another year...

At least you have one ready... Wait, what else do you have in your stash? Lol:bang::bounce::cheers:

One day, I'll have one, one day....

Yesterday we made a quick trip out to Gold Lakes just South West of Greaegle with my roommate Zach to meet up with a large group of Mitsubishi monteros, 4 runners, an X-terra, and another 80. There was a level of skill and ability that was shown to be a vary wide range as some of the other drivers had never wheeled before. Here is a quick photoset of the day...

Was doing some work on the 80 this morning and this little guy was sitting in the sun right by me, Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake baby. Pretty rare, close to endangered list. Problem is, there are up to 20 young, born late summer, plus that means up to 30" long mama and daddy. Oh, well, better chance of getting hit on the head by a tree limb than bitten. This guy is getting a relocation!

That almost makes Sacramento look nice!

I learned NOT to backup in the forest with your door open. The door edge cuts trees really well...but the hinges bend pretty easy and the door no shutty anymore. Ended up having to unbolt the hinge and straighten to make the door work again. Benefits of having a rough beat cruiser.

Thanks for doing the relocation. What you have here is an eastern hognose snake, not a massasauga. Note that there are no rattles and that the tip of the snout is upturned like a small shovel. The hognose use that for burrowing in soft substrate. They're harmless. Maybe the next one will be a massasauga, I know I'd really like to see one :D.
