Got started on the rear bumpers for @lx80aa and @krzyabncanuck. Had to make a few slight mods, but I'm back on track now...

If I have time possibly one for @LS1FJ40 if he's still interested.

I'll finish up the quarter wing braces tomorrow and start on the swing arms.

Let's see what all the rage is about. Gonna install them with my current 850/860 OME springs.

You realize we can google your name right?
Usually white out works better. I can still see your address. Might want to take it down and scan it again if you want more privacy.
or open the scan up in paint and spray it!

I don't really care. I almost didn't even do the marker thing.

:meh:

Do you have a more general picture? Curious what the total look is.
Sure, here - disregard the Dupli-Color Perfect Match on the front fender... It doesn't Perfect Match. I still have to work on where the lines were left from the flares. That's why i might go with the bedliner (and to cover the mismatch duplicolor..) I don't think a true repaint is in the budget yet.

'Mud is back to not letting me upload images. Annoying.

I was productive yesterday.. both found likely the only spot left that is still shiny and clean on my 290k mile 22yr-old rig.. the spot between the transmission and transfer case..

Aren't these little things CUTE?! Not.

Left case has a Lokka part-time spool installed.
Heavy.. especially to change by yourself without a transmission jack. I haven't been benching in the gym for a few months due to a shoulder injury but this still worked out. Seems the process is to lie under the truck, feet out to passenger side with case on ground to your left.. twist and lift it so that it is standing on the front output flange.. then roll it onto your stomach. From there just press it up and wiggle into place. Apparently a later case from a 97 has trouble with the over-frame exhaust of a 94 chassis.. will show a pic of the problem.

The protrusion on the case is a boss to mount some sort of vibration damper. Not present on a 94 case. MAYBE 1/8" clearance. And when the case is pulled back, if it isn't twisted down said protrusion interferes with the exhaust flange..

Either way I got it to work.

Also I'm glad I checked the CDL indicator switch on the "new" case before installing.. it was faulty.

The wild horses were a special treat ... We'd just sit there mesmerized watching them ... knowing they were truly wild ! so very cool in my mind !.... we wouldn't have even seen any of them , if the result of stopping in a gas station for a soda, and asking a local where there was a cool rd to go on ... he said in the town of Dayton, NV, to turn east on Dayton Valley rd, go all the way to the end , then go through the gate that says " Don't let the wild horses out" ... so we went through, closed the gate ... and drove on up the very bumpy trail... and low and behold there they were in several places ! Just I kept thinking about their wildness and the spirit of the old west and what they represented in the Freedom we have in our wonderful country .... Amazing !!!

Two other things amazed me ... 1 ... that my stock as a rock LX450, with no lockers, and 31's didn't even bat an eye going anywhere I wanted to... had to go 4 low a couple times , but didn't hiccup at all ... by far the best wheeler I've owned !

And 2 ... that having nearly 20 yrs sober ... that while at the Old Genoa bar ... I got thrown out for smoking ( had seen others with smokes on the bar ) , .... had regular non alcoholic ice tea, but it makes me truly laugh out loud , that even with the sobriety I have ... I still got thrown out of a bar !!! Ha
