Replaced the steering dampener with an OME unti. The stock one was toast I could push and pull it open and closed with zero effort [154000 miles on it]. Was about a 30 minute drop with a pickle for and some cursing at said fork. Didn't notice a major difference in the quick trip around the block though.
Finally got around to pulling the stock front speakers [I didnt know they were pioneers?]. The cones were pretty much rotted off and one was pretty rusty. Installed some Polk Audio that I just mounted to the door panel. No rattles, not super impressed with the speakers but it does sound a million times better then it did......still have to pull one out because I screwed up the positive and negative wire on one!!!!!! In between doing this I was installing wood floors in the family room for my pregnant wife who is in series nesting mod lol.
Topped off the oil and coolant. Pulled the oil cap looks real clean underneath, pull the radiator cap and it looked like 10 very tiny white gel "blobs". Don't know how else to describe it. Looking into the radiator the coolant looks perfectly clean.
