Made some big progress this weekend.

LOL every time it rains the urban off-roaders all show up there. Especially the bro-dozers, they like to hot dog around there and break things.

Used my winch to pull my wife's car (11 RDX) up our driveway after she got stuck and ended up sideways. Sorry no picks. So much for SH-AWD. My 05 Subaru Legacy GT made it up no problem a couple of hrs earlier.

Is that plasti-dip for the black? Looks good!

Thanks. Nope. It's Rustoleum's Professional Satin Black. It is a short term fix. I had some pretty heavy scratches I didn't want to corrode. I knew I was going to paint the whole thing this spring anyway so I just sanded it down, primed, and sprayed. Having said that it turned out pretty ok. And I got a nice scratch on one of the passenger doors afterward for a tree limb. I just washed it off, wet sanded, and resprayed. Can't even tell.

Vehicle comparison likely isn't valid. Tire comparison is likely more the root cause here.

People are the ****ing worst, my truck was either keyed from tip to tail or someone drove way too close and scratched the **** out of it.

So I ripped all the flares and cladding off in preparation for Monstaliner once it gets warmer.

While the 100 or so holes suck, I like it much better already. The tires now look appropriately sized and are no longer dwarfed by the flares.

No pictures, but I installed my Slee Adjustable Upper Control arms (been sitting in my garage for a year). Took way less than I thought. Only hiccup was getting the DS frame bolt out since it was ramming into LSPV. I couldn't remove that bracket due to the 2 bolts up top I couldn't access so I just took a hammer to the bolt and it finally wedged its way out.

With 864's and 1" spacer when I'm unloaded, I'd get a slight vibe in the rear at around 55mph. Just by making the Slee upper arms 0.25" shorter and rotating the pinion angle down, I no longer have that vibe. Pretty cool. Wish I would have pressed in OEM rubber bushings first, but whatever.

Also installed the VC120 cannister. Have noticed a smoother idle...
