Took it to a long day of bike racing and caught a photo of this sunset on the way out.

Corn seems to be pretty damaging to the paint @LS1FJ40

Yeah, corn or teeth. Sometimes I just run over s***. Like annoying kids in the neighborhood. Their teeth can be sharp... :meh:

I never met anyone from this country of Iowa...

You have to work hard not to have met someone from Iowa.

Lots of famous folks: Ronald Reagan, Wyatt Earp, Johnny Carson, John Wayne, George Washington Carver, Gary Cooper, Walter Chrysler, etc., etc..

I have a neighbor who had a few things to say about Iowa a few years back; dude literally grew up a touch over a mile from where I was raised:

This past Friday I took my two grandsons out for a day in woods. We went into Jennings Forest Wildlife Management Area (northeast Florida) to see some wildlife and hike a trail or two. I drove past a check station (two trucks were present) and on into the area. The road we were on (single lane graded sand road) went straight for about a mile and a half. We were easing along real slow and saw four deer playing in the road about 100 yrds ahead, they eased off into the pines and were 50 yrds to our right by the time we reach their crossing point. They didn't blow to sound the alarm, just trotted off white tails in the air. We eased up to a power line crossing the road and a truck was parked in the large clearing, with no occupant(s). Looking way down the road 200 yrd plus, there was eight turkeys playing in the road. We creeped closer and got within 100 yrds and could see one of the hens was white (cool sight), they turned and ran further down the road away from us 50-75 yrds and stopped to check out our movement. We kept easing up on them and they left the road to our right. When we reached their exist point they were 30 yrds out in the planted pines and palmettos and the flock busted and flew off into some heavier timber. Looking down the road another 200 yrds there was another truck parked along side the road........ then it hit me, it must be muzzle loader deer season! I said to my grandson, "we need to turn around and get out of here NOW." We did just that and saw two more deer off the side of the road as we were leaving the area. I stopped at the check station and confirmed it was muzzle loader season. I sure hope we didn't mess up someone hunt that morning.

That guy called me a fxxxwad and a bitch, Iowans aren't nice at all!

I've been meaning to ask you if you have any wind noise with the deflector removed and the lightbar in it's place? I'm looking to do this with my rack also.

I never installed the deflector so I won't have a comparison with it on. I installed the light bar when I assembled the rack. It does have wind noise which is pretty similar when I had my Yakima bars as the mount for my light bar.

Yeah, you probably have but we Iowans are understated and don't feel the need to overcompensate for other areas by bragging how great we think our state is. We know it's the best place to live. And don't mess with us, we make your food and could spit in it. We won't because we're too nice. Or are we...

Oh, I almost forgot, F$&# Texas!
