That is brave.

Any pics of the rest of the repair?

More tube work. I will taking my 3 1/2 yr old camping and wheeling next weekend and needed to wrap up a few loose ends.

Got more to do. Brace the front stinger. Got the essentials done on the rear family cage. I will be installing a tube gussets and some triangulation on the roof. So much for the cool look, but now I can wheel safely with my whole family.

Just finished an quick 30 min job of installing new weatherstripping. Hardest part was deciding to remove the perfectly good factory strip. I used a screwdriver handle to go over the strip once it was installed just to make sure that it was seated.

Picked these up from @reevesci @trailtailor! Thanks Jason , this is a great little upgrade. Eliminated all of my wind noise. I'm really liking the tailgate trim because it also helps stop a rattle over bumps ect. Moose is brown and the strips are black... Hardly noticeable because of how clean they look.

Installed a new radiator, thermostat, and water temp sensor. ...damn... it feels like I did a lot more than that! haha

Cleaned off all of the gunk on the frame from before the power steering was fixed. Sprayed some paint over the areas where the ATF had eaten through the original paint.

The parts store gave me the wrong thermostat gasket so I ended up making my own rather than wait until next weekend to finish this project. My 60 has been out of commission for too long already.

Eventually I had everything I needed though and now its all back in place. Just need to add coolant tomorrow and it'll be back on the road.

Removed the gas tank to clean it out, and while there is so much free space under the truck now, tried my hand at removing the C channel that is held in place with rivets (lots of rust in the area, old inner pieces are rusted bad, need to be replaced) Too my dismay, I see that the rear spring hangers are held in place with rivets that run through said C Channel. No way to get to the heads of them with the springs still attached, so now I don't know what to do, short of getting the springs/shackle out of the way, which adds days to the project.

Something of a joke. I don't name my Cruisers but I have a couple of friends that have ridden with me and refer to my 60 as the Beast. Taking advantage of the free emblems I snagged on and slapped it on this weekend.

Did another wiring/lighting project.

I put two 6 inch led strips under the hood with a switch in the engine bay so I can see what Im doing when I tinker in the evenings or when I have a problem at night.

Its a pretty straightforward setup, but gosh is it a great mod for 15$.

Im almost done with my "lighting overhaul". The rear hatch/interior lights turned out awesome too.
