33’s no lift, yet. New fuel pump, hood release cable, thermostat, oil sending unit and temp sensor. More to come but she’s about ready for daily driving again.

This past Saturday I attended the GA Bushcraft Fall Gathering to do a ham radio demo. I set up my gobox, my "solar generator" (battery box) and solar panel on the hood of my 60. I had a lot of questions about my 60, almost as many about my ham radio setup.

Suspension swap on the '85 today. I've had a BDS suspension on it for almost 20 years. BDS was too stiff but lived with it. I recently changed out the OME on the '86 and swapped those springs over to the '85. Even though the OME has about 200k miles on the springs it gave the '85 a little more lift over the BDS.

Oil change and a beer(sss). No pictures, but I’m sure you can all smell the rotella and Budweiser if you try.

This was one of those slow oil changes. Three young kids in the house during a pandemic oil change. I really missed hitting the flat rate book on this one.

Well, it came on a freight truck... new front bumper. Too bad the 60 is in the shop otherwise I would have installed photos already.

Lol! I had that box in my garage earlier this year... But it was a huge box!

Replaced a melted intake hose with something that should be indestructible.

Got some dents repaired and a bent gutter realigned.

Also removed some minor bed rust from my 84 pickup. Installing a 10,000w garage heater Monday before I paint. Before pics included.

Tried Hurricane Creek this week and found it not passable anymore (for stock rigs with no winches) due to severe washout and mud, so I backed out of that trail and hit the main forest road in NC on the way to Max Patch. Ended up going past Max Patch NC into Cherokee National Forest and from there to Rattlesnake Gap near where I hit a black mud patch near the end of tower road at Round Mountain TN. It was late so I ended up camping on the trail overnight and hoping the rig wouldn't slide down the rest of the mountain in the torrential downpour that night.

In the morning, I hiked to Del Rio and on the way some bear hunters attempted to help me get the truck unstuck, but a t100 with a strap wasn't gonna be able to do it. They gave me a ride into town where folks asked around and eventually we found a guy with a Chevy c30 4x4 wrecker with some trail tires that could make it up the rough jeep trail.

I thought I was for sure gonna lose my rig down the mountain, it was about 85ft of brush before the trees started, so it would've rolled. I made some good friends in Del Rio and also learned the importance of recovery gear beyond a shovel. Next time I head off into the unknown, I'll ask the locals about the trails worth doing and I'll bring a buddy.
