Small things. New grill from Carparts.com (($52 shipped) and new hood bumpers from City Racer. Hood has rattled since I have owned the truck. No more. Also added my new to me distributor cover from @4Cruisers. Only kid on my block with one of these. Super cool.

Im not usually a fan of aftermarket wheels on a 60 but those do look good, especially the color combo.

Thanks! They’re made by SCS, I really couldn’t be happier with them.

I turned a new shift knob on my lathe from a Banksia pod. they're native to Australia. Filled the holes with colored sand and thin CA glue. after that i re-turned it down to its final shape and finished with Odie's Oil. fun little project to add a personal touch to the rig.

Been several weekends, but I’ve rebuilt my brakes with new master and wheel cylinders, calipers, braided lines, pads and shoes. Stops better than it has since I’ve owned it. Changed the oil and filter, greased everything and topped off other fluids. Best thing though is the new BMW seats. They came with torfab brackets for a later model but I ended up making my own to lower and center the seats. Major difference in comfort.

Awaiting the arrival of the 2nd half of my premium kit from Mosley Motors. This will be happening the weekend of Sept. 5th.

Started tear down and coolant drain to replace my leaking radiator with a CSF. The heat makes this brutal in the garage. Will have to split this job up in small bites. Also planning on replacing:
Thermostat
Both BVSVs
Split fan shroud
Radiator hoses and clamps
Oil cooler hoses clamps and piping

Slow and steady progress. Waiting on new water pump and lower radiator hose to complete the job. So far have finished -
Oil cooler pipes and hoses
BVSVs
CSF radiator ready to drop in

Going to swap in a rebuilt smog pump too. All of this is an adventure for me, by far the deepest I’ve been into my 60 engine bay.
