I believe I have the ugliest blue FJ60 among this crowd.
You should have seen the 84 I had a short stint with... she were a fugly mess!

That photo is giving me flashbacks to my former life cross country commuting in Illinois. Flat as a pool table and nothing between you and the North Pole but a barb wire fence.

Did not make it to work on this day.....did not make it out of the driveway come to think of it.

hey wait a minute... Canada is in between there somewhere!!!;)

Heresy!!! All fj60s are simply unique and expressive of characteristics dictated by the owner.

Come to think of it, I'm rusty, run down, banged up, slow and temperamental so I reckon you're right. Me and the blue unit deserve each other.

Looks like you had some blizzard activity. It snowed 8" here today but it came straight down and no drifting. Still can't work outside on the FJ40s.

That photo was from a few years ago back in Illinois.

Here in Raton we got just 2-3" Friday night with wind and light flurries yesterday and today. You've been getting pasted over your way.

Good to see you guys getting some moisture for a change John and Jim. It's been dry and cold here in the wind chill belt.

Finally. We've had 47" since Christmas - 5 different storms. That's almost our average annual winter snowfall of 50". But that doesn't come close to the BIG ONE - the winter of 1986/1987 we got 150" here in town.

And for some 60-Series content, I'll be uncovering the '86 FJ60 yet again first thing in the morning.

Keep the snow pictures coming John! Looks like awesome champagne powder.

Will do, another storm is predicted for Friday.

Speaking of powder, the family was at Taos Ski Valley many years ago when our sons were in the local ski racing club. They cancelled the race due to heavy snow but the mountain was open. From the time we got there early in the morning until later that night they got 72" of fresh powder. My youngest son was invisible to us as he skied the deep powder above the jeep trail back to the base of the mountain.

Well this 88 followed me home Sunday. The plan is tear it apart and rebuild it, with Gen IV 5.3L with a 4L65e. And then an interior with some today's creature comforts. Will eventually start a build thread but I need to clean up my shop first. What you can't see in this pictures is two more project cars behind the two you can see, and then the other side of the shop is full of tools and crap. My shop is drive though and in the back I have a pad that my trailer is on. I am going to build a carport and store the 41 Dodge COE back there, then I need to clean up the shop, and then the LC build starts.

Nice find! You have pics of the Dodge? Not sure if I have seen one.

COE stands for cab over engine, it’s basically the semi truck of the era. It’s on a modern P30 chassis, which is something you would see a ups truck or bed truck on. Just a straight rail frame, and has a carbed 350 under the cab.

Like the COE. I see one on a ranch I pass, tempted to try to make an offer. Not sure what it is, doesn’t look like yours ( Dodge) and it’s not a Mack either but it’s cool.
