COE stands for cab over engine, it’s basically the semi truck of the era. It’s on a moder P30 chassis, which is something you would see a ups truck or bed truck on. Just a straight rail frame, and has a canned 350 under the cab.
I haven't seen that. But I can tell you COEs have a very big following as well. Several groups and a lot of builds out there. I love the look of most of them. I have liked COEs for years and always just passively looked at what was out there. This one popped up about 60 miles from me, it was to good of a deal not to buy. I am going to shorten the wheel base a little and make a period correct looking flatbed. I plan on using it, as it seems I am always pushing the limits of my F150.
I decided to clean out the valve body on my 62 while I was in there to replace the kickdown cable.
Just brought it out for a test run and I seems better. Time will tell.

I got it from Toyota about 6 months ago. The throttle cable is no longer available but they had the kickdown.
It’s not difficult to replace and you don’t have to pull the throttle body to do it. You do need to drain and pull the pan. There is a clamp halfway back toward the engine bay you have to unhook.

I need to verify but I believe it's a muncie 4 speed (guy I bought it from wasn't sure, he bought it and parked it in the boonies for several years). Not sure on the transfer case either yet but I think it may be the stock TC or possibly a NP205. I'll know more this week.
Funny you mention that cause if it's running good enough, I was planning to put a piece of masking tape over the LR badge, write FJ 4T on it, and sneak it up there.
Received my new Kaymar bumper for the 6-2 ordered through Cruiser Brothers yesterday. They've started importing these again. Guys at the shop got the bumper itself installed I'll do the swingarms later. Only thing I don't like as much as the older style are the skinny LED panels on the brake, turn signal and backup lights. Got the spare carrier, work light and dual can carrier to add later.

Oh my these are again available? Great news!! Might have to change my thoughts on the receiver hitch I just bought in favor of one of these. Bumper looks great on there.

Yessir, we have added Kaymar to the Cruiser Brothers line-up. We order monthly so it takes a while, working on on-hand inventory for stock later this year.

I would add for other Mud members that this is the second time I've worked with Ward Harris of Cruiser Brothers. I got a 40G tank for my 62 last fall. They are great to work
