Quick question - how were you able to catch it? Wasn't that it couldn't see you approach as the snake blinders are missing from your FJ60 :).

:lol: I approached from an angle that did not require snake blinders but maybe I should reinstall but they'll have to be LED cuz that's the trend.

Got her a tiny bit muddy.... and pilfered a few cedar posts at a local park (they were mostly dead) assessed off a dirt road but didn't take a pix in the lot cuz a couple came walking along to make pleasantries about the truck and another car drove up close and waved.
As we drive out we got lucky and had a barred owl (I believe) swoop twice and perch for a photo.

Jason (reevesci) sold me the stock height leaf springs from Poppy when he upgraded to a lift. Super happy with a refreshed suspension over the 30 year old stock setup. I think I picked up an inch of height to boot.

How long were those plugs in? They look new!

Did a compression test yesterday. First run of number were dry. Then did wet #2 150, #4 160, #5 140.
Then did a cold valve adjustment which helped me find that what I'd done before was too tight. Much smoother now.

But need to get my middle nuts and the bolts on the manifold torqued down more as I'm still getting an increase in rpms w/ carb spray. But all in all I'm that much closer.

Thank you , They are 33x10.50 KM2's. On stock wheels , my 2nd set , I really like the set up . I have OME heavy suspension
Beautiful scenery and truck. Would you tell me the tire size there? They look like 31's?

How many miles on the engine?
I have 220k but have a recent valve job. 150 dry straight across at 5000 ft elevation.
Interestingly my plugs have more variation than yours, some more soot than others.

About 150k on my engine. However, the plugs have a little less than 2000 miles on them.

150 dry, across all 6 is phenomenal... looks like you've got many more miles left on your motor.

I've been trying to chase down a lowish vacuum issue and I wanted to rule out an internal problem. You wouldn't have a vacuum reading for your cruiser, do you?

Great pics As usual Nolen

Working on my rear 1/4 protection and modifying my transmission tunnel cover for the triple sticks.

I can try to get one. Where do you recommend taping in?
