I'm one step closer to rewiring my lights and winch switch.

Turns out you can fit 8 315/70r17 tires inside a 60 if you remove the rear seat, even if you have a set of drawers in the rear. Only four of those 8 tires can have rims though.

Broke my windshield wiper linkage. :crybaby:

Spent a little time with the one and only.

Since getting her 5+ years ago the passenger door lock has always been muddled up.

Swapped in a new lock... Lock cores are keyed differently but at least it doesn't look as janky.

Picked up some other valentines day gifts as well today.

Took the 62 out into the forest to explore with my sister who was visiting over the weekend. No pics of Elsie Mae, but we checked out an old plantation house that dates to the early 1700s and an old rice mill that I couldn't find any information on. Didn't see any signs of other visitors while we were out there - felt like we had the whole 10,000 acres to ourselves.

Took my rig in for a full A/C system replacement including compressor, clutch, hoses and miscellaneous. Includes conversion from R12 to R134. Looking forward to cool air in the upcoming summer.

I stared at it with tears running down my face like a kid who dropped his ice cream because the machine shop guys are taking two weeks to plane my manifolds

I just last week ordered a/c components from RockAuto:

compressor ...........321.79
condenser..............118.79
expansion valve.......18.86
dryer......................16.96

add to that shipping and freon kit at local parts store your looking at 500.00 in parts. Of course you may only need a compressor but you may as well do it right.
