Anyone know of a thread out there that addresses seat change-overs? Specifically from bench to buckets. Does a guy have to spend a thousand dollars? This pig's (74 fj55) gonna be mine forever so I want it to be right. I was looking at SOR's set-up. Looks nice but kinda pricey. Thanks in advance for the help.

got a new fuel pressure regulator and made a new bracket, only to discover i didn't have the correct fittings:rolleyes:

Good evening Fellow Knights, I am currently in Sacramento Area, in Folsom, for traning, does anyone knows where can I buy parts for pigges near by like HEI distribuitors among another things, or if someone want's to share a beer with a costarrican landcruiser enthusiast, also welcome, will be here until 23th

:beer::cheers:

Pighead is right down the street from you....wish I wasn't working all week, I'd drive up there for that beer!:cheers:. Georg(orangefj45)has his shop in stockton about an hour from you. I think it's called Valley Hybrids...

8 weeks ago I ordered my "special" plates from DMV, They finially got here - I had to go without an appointment to pick em up 3 hours at DMV for 6 minuets at the window - but they are now on the pig! I hate DMV. Now just maybe they won't be asking - is that a Land Rover? Geeezzz

How is someone that doesn't know if it's a LR supposed to know what an FJ55 is?

My Pig plates came off of my FJ40. They read 8NOJP

Nice, I like that. I was able to get IRONPIG on mine. People have no idea what that is suppose to mean.

was out trying to figure why i am having problem getting fuel to flow from the tank, time for new tank maybe.

Laguna - what happened to the tabs on your grille? Someone snap dem off?

RHINO (or anyone), why is it that Pig tanks have problems with this? When I was getting my Pig running this was an issue. We had to make a roto-rooter out of a speedo cable and hog out the fuel feed line in the tank. Have you sent yours out to get hot tanked? If yes, try the roto-rooter. If no, try the roto-rooter before sending it out to be tanked. Just don't make any sparks if there are fumes in there...

They were super rusted, so I cut them off thinking if would be easier to make new ones.

i'm not 100% cause i never cut a fuel tank open to see, but i think there is a little tiny filter on the pick up tube that get clogged over time. i have a rusty stock tank in the yard that i'm gonna cut open and look into.

Nice to know about the silicone spray. Looking forward to that snorkel pic

Well, I made a snorkel out of 3 inch ABS. I cut the ABS for make the angles and glued it together... rather than plastic weld... it is basically the same thing anyway and a bit easier. Also make a cover for the vent out of one of my old mud flaps from the T100. On the inside, I just used 2 inch PVC and stuck it straight into the intake hole on the stock air box. It fits right in. OD is the same as the ID on the air box. I attached it to the body with velcro straps for now and have Super Quick Fists on the way.
