One of them is still here , I used the other one long time ago . I think some of these have been with me for 15 years now and if we weren't moving they could sit on those shelves forever as it is so handy to have this kind of inventory when working on old 70 series .I see my old seats!!
That's a really good point. Thanks for the adviseif your seatbelt is tight you probably won't be able to reach the tool
How was the ride? It would be great to see a thread with review and photosPresently installing a complete Terrain Tamer parabolic suspension system on our HZJ75. View attachment 3894471

Joined that deformed ball club. The RAM "Tough Ball" is considerably stronger than their other one. Been better.Glad someone found this useful! Some blue loctite on the threads should help keep it in place. I had some rotation issues with the ball when it gets hot out. It got hot enough in the cab to deform the RAM mount so it's now more oval than sphere.
The ride is excellent. The improvement is not on the same level of WOW as the parabolics on the FJ40 were, since the Troopy rode better on OMEs to begin with, but it's noticeably improved. Much more revelatory is the improved stance. On OMEs our Troopy was barely level, and we carry 71 gallons of fuel on long trips, plus 29 gallons of water. The parabolics raised the back of the Troopy two inches (see below), and the overload leaves aren't even engaged. A full review will be coming. How was the ride? Their website confuses the cr@p out of me.
Have you had success with that version? It looks like it might be the same plastic as the normal ball but with a larger rod inside of it. Not sure if that'll solve the deformation issue (if the plastic is the same).
Costal Offroad Kit?And it begins…
