Removed the transmission to replace the clutch on my ‘94 KZJ78.

While I had it out I decided to tackle my weeping front and rear output seals to find that the rear shaft had a bit of vertical movement. Rebuild kit in bound for that. But in the mean time, both companion flanges have scarring from the seals. The front (3330960051) looks to be NLA.

Could a rear flange (3330960060) be utilized with swapping the dust cover?

They measure out the same with the my calipers. View attachment 3723114

The front should be the 33309-60060, 33309-60051 is a rear.

What is the flange pattern where the driveline bolts on? 68.5x60 with a 11mm stud or 66x66 with a 11mm stud? Or 10mm stud? I'm not at my desk to check but I know we've used some of our common split t-case output flanges on the Prado and LD cases with minor mods. You can also speedy-sleeve the flange, we stock those too.

69x69 with a 10mm stud.

That would be outside to outside which isn't a reasonable way to measure a pattern. You would go from center to center OR inside edge to outside edge to find the pattern. I suspect you have 60 x 60mm x 10mm

While that flange is hard to source (but is available), our TCF60070SC (front output) is the same pattern but the 11mm stud. Simply drill out front driveline to 11mm, buy (4) washers and (4) nuts (all parts we stock), and you're good to go.

New EBay $212 radiator experiment 😂 From Cambodia! Runs cool, had to grind the frame to get the top mounts straight and drill holes for shroud but overall happy with the temp solution til I decide next powerplant for it. The old one I had for 15 years (had re cored back then) and top tank kept leaking at the seam on top behind bracket. Will keep for a rainy day..

I put one of these in a few months ago. Seems to be doing good. Pretty maddening how crudely the mounts fit though.

LOL! Definitely not OEM and took some massaging to install.

Started loading this years “Meet & Greet” raffle items for the trip north. I can now see why some folks buy Troopies. I just hope I don’t have to brake hard. 😁
** And no, this isn’t all of the items. 😊

Guess I drunk ordered a 70/75 Dash Mat a couple weeks ago. It arrived. Fits like a champ on the 77 humps and bumps.

Nice. Where did you source it? I could use one in mine

4 doors... jump seats. Looks like a 77 series but more better. I'd buy a raffle ticket or two for that clean rig. ;)

Nice. I ordered one for my HJ61 from the Dashcover Company in Australia. While the fit/finish was initially great, the edge 'binding' threads all started to deteriorate in the sun? I'm not sure but it leaves a mess of thread material all over the dash. It just two years old so disappointing.

Got a new turbo compressor housing that should be a direct swap on my turbo. The 90° outlet will simplify charge air pipe routing and free up space to build an airbox.

Bummer. Dash Mat and Dashcover Co. look very similar. DBA? I get a malware warning when I try to hit the DashCover website. So only able to see their old YouTubez "install video". But same edging style. It's only sunny in Oregon for like two months a year so hopefully it lasts a lil longer here than in that Utah sun.

This will give you an idea of how they are fairing...

I was using a formed dash mat made by "Shevron" that is really nice quality but had to take it off when I added the inclinometer pod. I wonder if they make a version for the inclinometer pod optioned cruisers. I did not use the velcro. I just plopped it on top and rolled with it that way (no issues).

If you find they do make one that is compatible with the dash pod, let us know. I'd then have to choose between that and the Cruiser Store variant.
