More cleaning...amazingly the grid heater I didn't touch so that at least tells me it wasn't pushing a bunch of oil through the intake. Still have some cleanup to go.

That's over 4,000 miles from the Gold Coast, do you mind giving me a couple a more stats?
I've asked a few people here and just trying to get some averages.
Was it a rushed 3 weeks?
How many Km did you do in a day on the sealed roads?
How many Km did you manage in a day in the desert?

6000kms total.
3 weeks? We did that trip in just 1 week of our visit
Desert days were ~100kms per day. Mind you we planned to spend 3-4 days on Fraser but opted for a mad crazy Simpson trip. I was the only one from the XOverland crew whom had been in the Simpson so the others wanted a sneak peak. We had Justin from Patriot (supplied the 200 and 79) and the best tour guide for Australia, Rob from HEMA maps. They put us on the best of the best for the Birdsville to Mount Dare section. We had lots of drivers and we all like pushing it hard

GTurbo arrived about 6 days after i ordered it.
I welded an adjustable linkage end onto the OEM waste gate actuator.
I will add a boost controller soon.

Did a LED conversion from oddironoffroad. Easy install and great customer service.

Talk about Fly in - Fly out... Hope you at least had a beer at the Birdsville Hotel.
Saw the flag on your map at Alice Springs and thought you included that. My trip may take a bit longer with side trails. At least I know the quickest I could do it now. Thanks for replying.
