They will not work without spacers. You will need 1 and 1/2 inch spacers and that size tire will brush the rear inner wheel housings when stuffed and the front axle will need to be moved forward to keep the tires from hitting the fenders in a turn.
Shucks. It looks like I’ll turn down this good deal. Ideally I don’t want to run wheel spacers. Oh well, such is life
So what is the max BS I can run and be okay?

Stock is 3.5 inches. 285/75/16 tires will brush the inner rear wheel housings with that backspace. I net 3 inches with my spacers and that size tire does not brush.

I can't say as I have not attempted to fit them. I do know of at least one BJ74 that runs 315/75/16 tires on OEM 80 Series wheels with 1.5 inch spacers. That is a net 3 inch backspace. I do not know if his tires brush the inner wheelhousings.

Got the oil-bleeding turbo out.
Set rocker arm/valve lash. Only 1 of 8 was in spec.
Put in yet another pto winch sheer pin.
Replaced power steering pump to identical unit for a 60 series minus the attached reservoir.

Fitted the Pertronix kit and epoxy coil from Cruiser Outfitters, checked valve clearances, new rocker cover gaskets, replaced the fuel filter and a couple of rubber hoses and changed all the diff, transfer and gearbox oils. Measured up replacement earth cables to go with my new battery terminals and checked the AC pressures.

Bought a set of these:

Sent them to my wheel guy down the street and got these back!

Mounted up some KM3 33x10.50x15s.

Thinking about a 2" spacer instead of the 1" ones I had to run to clear the tie rods. They tuck in a bit too much and the super skinny look makes them look even more tucked. KM3s are a dream to drive on compared to the MTRs that were on the truck. Hard to believe they're a mud tire.

Nice looking rims. I wonder how they will hold up to the mud and rocks.
I have used the GY MTRs since 02 and the early version was quite soft.
The newer style MTRs donot have much flex unless you air them down below 20 psi.

Also got my battery and winch cutoff switch wired and mounted:
