Good. Sorry I forgot about the little ordeal I had about the W. For my main ground wire I think I went through the bottom corner hugging the winch gear box. This gave me enough room to clear the other 3 main cables through the top with enough room to mount the aluminum cover. Use your old cover to make sure it all clears.

So been looking for ideas on how to put rear speakers in the car and get around the family cage. Found somewhere information about using a large ammo can, so was planning to go that direction until I realized how little storage space I had. So, I decided to add a Front section to the ammo can for the speaker and be able to keep the storage area. I designed it in cardboard, then cut it out of one sheet of 16 gauge metal, bent on brake and welded it up. Plan to paint it, use some rubber mat inside of it, and see how it sounds. It is not totally sealed box, probably not enough air space for that speaker, however I'm not trying to get perfect sound out of it. It will bolt down through the bottom with the family cage, so very secure. Also creates a perfect space for a cup holder on the front

Well, thought of a couple of the things to check on my wiring Gremlin, changed out the flasher unhooked the speedo cluster In case the ground was not good. And basically gave up after trying every idea I had. So then came round two and step one was to change out the brand new switch in the steering column. $40 from advanced auto parts and that fixed everything!!!!!!

@White Stripe No "W" yet. I emailed him last week on Thursday to see if shipped yet, with no answer.

Not impressed with Crawlorado

Getting ready to do the bodywork on the holes that were there for the rear tail lights, trying to decide where to put the emblems. Any thoughts?

Also going to add a reverse light, did this car never had. Maybe a little overkill.

Sorry man. Did u hit up awl teq again for help?

No "W" yet. not sure if @Awl_TEQ can help or not. He is in the great white north, enjoying a health care benefits without politics.

Hey @White Stripe you have any seat recommendations? I am 6'2" so I am looking for a seat that is "squatty" - not to thick on the bottom.

Whats your budget? I think RC350 seats would be the ultimate of luxury in a 40 as they are power, ventilated and heated. If you want cheaper, I like my 1st gen leather mr2 seats a lot. They have lots of adjustments on them and are all manual.

Too cheap for the PRP pair of suspension recliners for $900.

If I could get away for $500, Santa could swing that.

I already have a tuffy box ready to be installed.

What's this about a dubbya?

I probably have one here, lemme look around at home. Should be one there. I just send Crawlarado a shipment of covers including several loose w's a couple weeks ago. I don't speak for him here but he does a lot of desert racing stuff and is on the road a lot.

If I find one I'll be in touch.

Thanks! Appreciate the help. I don't feel like I am being impatient about this; however, he has not sent me the part or responded to my emails for 28 days now.

Ok, finally looked in the storage room downstairs - I found two Dubbyas with no hole. They aren't prime freshly painted but not bad either. They look fine from 2 feet away. You are welcome to one or both. Here's a pic

I really appreciate the offer.... says very much about your character.

Not sure if I like that you are having to fix an issue that is really your distributor's issue.

How about we give him until year end to fix the issue, and if he does not come through, I will take you up on one of those?

Kelly

Sure no problem, I sent you a PM about your address but whenever is fine with me.

I'll just leave them on my side table here at work and they won't get lost LOL

Got the doors about done with bodywork, so I pulled all these parts off to sandblast to get ready for epoxy primer. Hope to blow epoxy and build primer on in next couple days.
