I never said I read :hillbilly: but I can't stand to sit in front of the "boob tube" either and if I do I usually watch something boring like National Geo or the History channel because I am a loser, but I figure if I have to sit and stare at a TV atleast I can learn something :meh:. However I usually spend my evenings alone in my shed with the cruiser talking to myself :grinpimp:

My favorite TV shows are

How it's made
Nova
Woodwrights shop
This New House
Antiques road show
Big bang theory
Gold rush
American chopper

The last two I really don't like the drama but on AC I like the fabrication on the bikes and on gold rush I've always wanted to pan for gold. I'm rooting for the kid this season. I like his grandpa. I bet it would be interesting to listen to his stories. Even my wife likes all my shows.

I like extreme 4x4 as well but his hi pitched voice gets on my nerves.

I read good.

But I prefer to watch 1 or 2 good shows and that is it. I hate vegging in front of the TV as well, which is why I got rid of cable. It's like you are a Zombie flipping through.

When I had a project truck it got all of my free time. I understand your lack of time to watch TV, you seem to always have a project to work on. Buy it, build it, sell it. Rinse and repeat.

that is me for sure...... the excitement and challenge of a project is the only thing that keeps me sane sitting behind this desk 9 hours a day. I wasn't really hating on the TV crowd, I just can't do it I'm not good at vegging out it makes me feel blah.... I gotta to keep thinking and moving and it drives my wife crazy cause she loves to veg. out

and his shop is way too clean, right Marshall?

JP,

TV Guide is a book . . . .

family guy
archer
reruns of frisky dingo, sea lab 2021 and other adult swim classics

documentaries.

ocasionally an episode of 30 rock, it's always sunny or the office.

love me some TV, but nothing's been as creative as LOST. I know some people never got into it, but it was one show that I could not wait to see the next episode. Always some weird twist, but it came down to the relationships of the characters and the writers were geniuses.

Nowadays I DVR everything I'm interested in and wind up watching about a week later:
Sons of Anarchy
The Walking Dead
Hell on Wheels (recording but haven't watched any yet)
Terra Nova
Top Gear
Once Upon a Time (not crazy about this one, but giving it a chance for now)
Burn Notice
American Horror Story
Formula One
GP2
AMLS when its on
Australian V8 Supercars
MotoGP (occasionally)

is that a landcruiser in the background!!
