Mortar beds are tough to get right unless you have done many before. I like that Sclueter system. And make sure you Red-guard your walls before tile.

Just read the last 4 pages (been a while since I've been here) and here's what I learned:

Everyone is gay
Marshall's bath was the suck
all cars are gay
We're burning a Jeep at the annual

BTW, Steve, if the rules allow, and you're man enough (that's debatable), a mid 80s-early 90s nissan hardbody could be had cheap and the Z24 engines are bullet-proof. Plus you could drift the hell outta that thing :steer:

I think you are correct on all counts.

I'm looking into my vehicle options. It might just be cheaper to buy a vehicle that is already set-up for stock class with a cage, seats, etc and already has a log book.

I should have added that a same vintage Toyota could be done cheaply as well, but it has been my experience that the Z24 was a better motor than the 22R, especially in stock form.

Gerry Can storage

Not really a chat question, but where do you guys store your Gerry Can's if you don't have a place for it on the outside?

maybe i should get into making aftermarket bumpers!

I had a bronco II and hated the rear swing spare. I got hit by it a few too many times and it was always ratteling. The rattle will not be noticable with my diesel but getting wacked with a full size spare is always noticable.

I don't think jerry cans would hurt as bad.

Atleast he has 2 fire extinguishers close to put the fire out....hope they don't blow up too.....you need some boxes Jlee before you go boom.

So i guess carrying MFC inside is a no no. Time to save up for a rear bumper. I was thinking of calling IPOR and getting one of their basic 60 rears and then doing with Jeremy did and find something similar to a h2 swing out for a tire and two cans. I need to find some viton seals for my cans too.

a pontiac fiero with a SBC in the back of it!!!

not sure how it will do out of the twisties. mid engine, short wheel base, lots of power....might be great for 360's.

I can probably land you a fiero for less than 500 bucks!
