C watt I mean!!?? Aye Coulomba! It shunt but my head hertz! U guys R leaders with ample capacity to induce positive behavior but transform to become negative and repulsive. I volt the coppers charge you with battery and toss you in a cell with no potential for parole.
 
I had some mounting plates made up. 6" square. Its set up for the box and two ground bus bars. If no bus bars it can be cut on black lines down to 4" x 6". Holes on top and bottom are to mount panel to support.

If anyone is interested in using this type of relay/fuse block and you need a mounting panel, let me know.

Engine nerds like @Rice, @jfz80 and @mtweller (among others) will like this. Got the 6.0 torn down last night. Block is perfectly fine, no water jacket corrosion. I saw a few spots on the MLS head gaskets that could have been the leak, but it's hard to tell and the leak could have been inbetween the layers as well. Like a dope, I didn't get any close-up pictures of the block mating surface, but I did get pictures of a few cylinders showing the cross-hatch marks from the last time it was honed. I love diesel engines. Block is certified good to go :bounce:

This thing has definitely been apart before, based on the EGR delete, updated stand pipes, updated oil feed and drain lines, newer glow plugs, etc. It's been a while though, found a broken injector connector, a few broken glow plug connectors, harness not restrained in the head in a few places, etc. If the head gaskets have been replaced once, I'm assuming it was years ago and was likely at a dealer, because all the right updated parts were used but they used head bolts instead of upgrading to ARP studs.

Other oddities, this engine has the later style IPR sensor on the injector oil rail, has the later style fuel regulator, later style injector oil rails, later style glow plugs and pistons, but has the early style HPOP. Doesn't make sense.

Either way, will get my parts order together, get these heads off to be reworked and send the injectors off for servicing.

Many. Have been resisting the urge to fill this thread up with Ford wrenching :lol: I've started a build thread over on powerstroke.org to ask questions and whatnot. This truck is now affectionately called "Project Mayhem".

Shipped the heads up to ashevilleengine.com yesterday to be magnafluxed, pressure checked, flattened, "special" valve job and o-ring operation. Shipped the injectors up to warrendiesel.com last week to be rebuilt and testted with a modest upgrade to 155cc flow (up from 135cc stock). Injector upgrade requires a tuner, so picking up a tuner as well with a few tunes I picked out.

Got most of the parts in at this point. Research is ongoing, I need to check my lifters today. Need to pull the turbo apart to clean the VGT vanes and check the unison ring for cracking. Have two more orders to place. One for my new EGR delete and another for some hoses that I want to replace, MAYBE a new water pump.

Spent yesterday painting my new exhaust with VHT and my wheels. Wheels have been bugging me since I removed the wheel simulators. The wheel simulators (glorified metal hubcaps) allow water and mud to sit against the wheel. Between that and vibration, they rust. The wheels are steel, so a quick wire wheel and some enamel paint and we're looking good again.

Plan to paint the frame this week, get my final orders placed and finish cleaning the engine so I'm ready to assemble next week.

Says right on the bottle that it fixes cracked engine blocks. A cracked head or two should not be a problem. Money back guarantee!



Sorry to hear this, Johnny. ONSC has had a rash of bad engine luck lately. Here's hoping this is the last of it for a while.
