I don't do nearly as much work as most of you, nor the depth and no fab work, but for the work I do I have a few go-to tools:

- Flex-head ratcheting wrenches. Why I did not buy them 20 years ago is a mystery. They've made so many routine jobs even easier.
- Smith Little Torch (oxy-acetylene setup) for brazing. When you need precise, pin-point heat, it's the shizz. I bought this for RC crawler addiction but am finding it extremely useful around the house and for some tasks on the GX.
- Silky Gomboy saw. Makes me want to prune trees, anyone's trees, all of the time - it's that beautiful a tool!
