Ive been building up a milwaukee m18 cordless tool collection in the last month. picked up a drill and 1/4 inch impact driver set a couple weeks ago with 2 batteries and charger from home despot, and then brown santa brought me a 1/2 inch impact gun yesterday from amazon. I should be well on my way to breakin bolts, nuts, fingers and wrists in no time.

I bet I'm the only one in the club with one of these.

Used to have an old tube tester from my Dad's electronics company. Still have several Simpson field strength meters, and some other oddball stuff.

Yep. Tube tester. Now I don't have to run down to the 5 & Dime to check my radio bulbs.

I always thought it'd be cool to rip out the 40 heater and put in a bank of 5U4 and 6550's. Tell people it was an early model flux capacitor. Maybe just put them in the OEM radio spot.

These wrenches are the bomb Mountain (MTNRM6) 5 Piece Metric Double Box Universal Spline Reversible Ratcheting Wrench Set - Box End Wrenches - Amazon.com
My miller multimatic Miller Multimatic™ 200 MIG Welder | Miller - MillerWelds

Most usful tool in the shop is the Hitachi cordless impacts and drills. Use them on almost every job.
I got these wrenches last week. 1st use and the 10mm ratchet mechanism breaks...not a happy camper. Are these made out of chinesium?

Close. Taiwanesium I believe.

I guess I have moved over from Craftsman to Kobalt lately, due to Lowe's being close by - - but I have enjoyed every Kobalt tool I have bought so far with the exception of the 6x speed wrenching drive screw driver that is a mush of gears vs the 2x.

I should test their new lifetime warranty on it . . .

Back to welders, I'm looking to upgrade, and Tractor Supply has a Hobart 190 (220v)with a spool gun and regulator on sale until the 24th for $659.99.
I think this will be my next purchase...soon.

I did some tool restoration and clean up this weekend. I have several of my Dad's old tools and a few things I picked-up from various places. I cleaned up an Eagle oil can I've had for years now. The thing was black and completely gunked up before I started.

The small vice was completely coated with surface rust. I cleaned it and lubricated all the moving parts.

The Craftsman vice was my Dad's vice. It had lots of paint, metal shavings, and saw dust caked all over it.

I don't have any before pictures, but I still wanted to share this with my fellow gearheads.

I'm very happy with my Hobart 210. I'm sure that you'll be happy with the 190. Excellent machines.

Looks awesome!! I need to pick up an oil can like that.

For you tool junkies with lots of old cars....

I'm not a fan. How the heck do you tell which key is for what without trying every one?

Lol. I've been using my set for the past 3 years daily and never had one fail and I'm really tough on them. They are also available at Northern tool under the Klutch brand. Pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty.

I really want to love these, as the leverage and reversable offset design are great...I am hoping I just got a dud, and they they will send me a replacement 10mm. I don't want to send the whole set back as I haven't had an issue with any of the other wrenches.

Looks like my welder will be put on hold for a while...My work van is having transmission issues...could be one of my favorite tools(?)...that dump trailer is 2900 lbs. empty...
last time at the dump GVW was 15,600...you think that's a bit much for an E150
