76" (roughly) between the head ache rack and the rear door inside
49" to the roof / 43" to rear console

I came across this when i was rereading the thread ...
damn, a bit over time frame ...:doh:
the delivery is last week of june in Calgary.
 
i have been lax in posting up updates to this thread.
the main reason is the water tank that has been added to the build. i had mentioned that there is this wicked spot for a nice sized SS water tank and the owner decided to go for it.
normally this wouldn't be much of an issue but ...
the build came to a stand still while waiting for the tank to be built.
the body can not be mounted till the tank is installed.
the e/brake can not be installed since the cable goes right through the water tank.
the front tank can not be installed onto the body till the ebrake cable is installed since the cable is above that tank.
and so on.

the final volume should be about 110L.

while waiting for the tank it was time to start on the York install.
location of York on block, this required the AC to be removed.
the brand new York and associated parts.
since it is going to be within 3/4" of the factory air box trying to hold it in place while trying to thread in the bolts would lead to possible strippage and at the very least some fine words being spoken, i decided to swap the bolts out for studs on the side. make sense to me.

the fitting is crucial, as you can see there is not much play room around the compressor.
the compressor came with a back side tensioner but that won't work with the 1HZ so we tried to get it machined to fit the grove but the metal is too hard to machine so we ordered a different pulley.

the water jetted mounting brackets can be seen. it will be tacked and final fitted once the body is secure on the frame.

test fitting the water tank... as usual, tight fit.
i will admit i forgot one very important issue with a tank in this location ... the e/brake cable.
if we didn't figure out how to run a cable then we would have to eliminate the tank and that would be a huge waste of usuable space
so
neccessity is the mother of invention ... :hhmm:

the customer has mentioned a desire to have the Wabasto timer located in the upper console ...

as you can see the tank does not sit lower than the belly bar protection. since it is a water tank actual belly protection is not required.

further fitting of the intercooler, i like the way it is working out.
should be strong, vibration resistant and functional ...

Wayne, why does the diff look so close to the belly protection in this picture?
