How did you cut out the door in the rear bumper storage compartment? Was it a water jet, or plasma CNC? Very clean work.
It is amazing what a difference a change in camera angle makes.

That makes sense, I figured it would be built with proper clearance, that picture shows things much better.
For the water Jet, do you need dimensions or something done on CAD? or do they cut by hand?
Never used such a thing but the pieces come out with real clean lines to them!

the water tank
the access for the e/brake cable.
the center tiny hole is actually a tube that goes top to bottom for reinforcement of the thinner guage SS.
6" clean out on the bottom.
2" filler on the top
complex design but it fits nicely...

bad news the filler is not centered as requested so we will need to take the tank back to the shop to be relocated as needed. once you have the cap on it then there is limited room to put the fingers in to turn.

the front pic show the tank as having interference but the clearences are adaquate.
it is the angle of the shot as well as the tank is not bolted in at this point but Mitch is holding it in place..
the entrance of the access for the e/brake cable is visable as is the side plug. there is 2 drains on the tank, one drains the entire tank and the other is a couple inches up so IF there is contaminates they can settle to the bottom and the clean water can come out the spigot.

as we go through the truck torquing the bolts, we dab a bit of yellow paint on each one as we finish.
i have a 1987 BJ70 with 30K on it. while i was looking it over i noticed every bolt on the suspension had a dab of yellow paint
so i adopted the practice on this build.
