The military should put her on the recruiting poster.....they would have volunteers lined up for blocks.:)

Wayne.....thats an awesome build you are doing on this troopie.
I have a question for you. Not sure if i missed it on another page or not. I apologize if i did.

Are you running an oil pressure restricter at the oil inlet of the turbo? I couldn't tell if that brass fitting from the turbo to the brass T was a restricter or not? Also, not too familiar with 1HZ operating pressures or if Denco uses a journal bearing or ball bearing set-up in their Turbos. Would it require one?

I have tried contacting denco and ask if the schwittzer S2A in the kit has a 270 or a 360 degree thrust washer.
No response.
Garrets have the ball bearings and they are fairly unique to their turbos from what I know.

Yes, I think many of us would like more info on the panels.
What else can you show and tell?

once the hood is completed then we need to do a quick spray, the owner wants to finish the body after it is delivered.
black, grey or factory white?

we are swapping out the seats and since we are also making a sliding cargo barrier access from the front would be a bonus.
to make getting into the back easier than crawling between 2 upright seats :bang: i decided a flip and fold makes much more sense.
this allows easy entry from the outside passenger door :bounce2:, it allows for easy access from the drivers seat :bounce: and it also allows for a wicked flat area to place stuff on those loonngg drives.:steer:
test fitting the idea...:hhmm:

i utilized the original tracks from the land cruiser seats, this allows full travel of the seat.
what this means is that when in the upright position the occupant can have tons of leg room
and
when flipped and folded the "seat" part is touching the dash allowing for max entry room to the rear.

not bad.

looking at the upper console for clearence, perfect.
with passenger seat flipped and folded there is lots of room to access the rear once the sliding cargo barrier is completed.

the newer hood don't fit the older body style (although you might be refering to another hood)
