Well these are actually smaller than what i had.(235s) i am not a big fan of the rocks anyway. These actually were used. Had 500 miles on them.

Well i think i figured out why truck not idling. Solenoid not clicking. Got to see if it is a power issue or a bad solenoid.

Well i got my carb back from trollhole. Runs like a top now. Of course now i have no turn signals! Last time i drove it i had to replace a fuse due to no signals. Drive it today and again no signals. Got a short or something somewhere.

Got my off road light's wired up. Also received those used rancho shocks from 77 cruiser today. Got alot of wrenching to do after balsam.

Got my choke hooked up for the 1st time in 4 years. Truck is now not idling well when i drive it. Fine when sitting but awful to no idle at all at stop signs...

Think I finally have it idling good again. The fast idle screw at the for the choke was way off. Going to try to make southern fried weekend in January!

Dove into the exhaust leak today. Got one bolt that refuses to come out. Turns some but not much. Going to see about getting a long handled socket wrench today. Bolt has been sprayed several times with pb blaster.

Any idea how this seat belt goes back together?

Long extension and get it from under the intake manifold. That's a huge exhaust leak. Go with a remflex gasket.

Got it off. Breaker bar made all the difference.

Cleaned up well. Might hit it with a wire brush.

Started reassembling today. Should be rolling by Wednesday.

I'm just going to warn you there is a good chance that gasket is going to leak. Especially with those headers. Tighten those bolts down evenly.

Started it up today. Looks good so far. Seeing some smoke here and there but i have spilled antifreeze and that ceramic paint has to cure. Still got to put exhaust pipe back on but so far so good.

I have to concur with Marshall having run several one piece headers.... they suck. I always seemed to have leaks. I hope you have better luck than I

Well if it leaks as long as it is not as bad then will live with it for now. Someone did tell me to cut the metal between the pipes and it would help but i did not try it.
