Thanks. I've purchased from him half a dozen times. He is painfully slow but I always got my stuff. He estimated six months before he'd get around to the item he's rebuilding for me so I figured 9-12. I used to have a phone number for him but I'll try the web site.

Most likely inconsistent customer service, and the complaints that go along with that.
I’ve had good luck, but I’ve also had to go elsewhere at times.

Maybe enough complaints or something, I don’t know. He’s a wealth of knowledge but maybe he got in a beef with the wrong person.
When you are trying to get NLA stuff (even made) you expect it to be hard and to take a while. Well the parts in the mail doesn't fly well with most people. It's hard not to appear a scam, when you take folk's money and nothing happens for weeks/months and then they would post here about it. Who needs to read the grief here? Up front communication would have help

I ordered an in stock one year only headlight switch on Ebay. It took 2 months to arrive. While alot of Mud vendors(me included) are one man bands, communication and expectations are key.
Sometimes, we bite off more than we can chew. On my end, a small hiccup can snowball pretty quickly. But we are in this together.

I got the impression that he just got tired of all the complaint threads against him and quit (left on his own), but he didn't say anything when he left so I have no idea if that's true or not. Has Woody or a moderator actually said that he was banned?
