Yeah, I've ordered a ton of parts over the last two years from these sales from the SE dealers. It almost feels too good to be true.

Does anyone know "the story" here? Are the dealers really reducing their margin this much? Or is this something being subsidized by Toyota Corporate?

Maybe the Toyota parts warehouses are too full and corporate said it was time to start clearing them out?

I know that parts in general typically have very high mark ups and usually the dealers make a large part of their profit from parts. However, these deals seem to be so good that it feels like most if not all of their margin gets eaten away here...

Sweet! Time to get new fenders. Can get OEM for less than AM, that's hard to believe. Don't forget your OEM Toyota windshield washer fluid 00475-00WWF. Wouldn't want to put in that AM crap! I heard it cracks your windshield.

What retailer do you guys prefer? I have used Serra Toyota in Birmingham but I am still waiting for an order from Oct from them. Any recommendations on best dealer to use to take advantage of this sale?

I've ordered from Fred Anderson (Raleigh, NC), and Serra. Fred Anderson shipped much faster. Fred Anderson is running the sale again too. (No affiliation).

You may get faster. But nobody packs and repacks, as well as Erice at Sierra Toyota. He's the only one, I buy radiators, FDS (AKA CV's) , brake master and many others parts. Parts that always get damaged when shipped, if not packed by Eric. He's perfected packing, to an art form.

These is one other saving, I don't mention in forums. As we never know who's watching. But those that have bought from Serra Toyota of Decatur Alabama, known what that savings is. ;)

What's the secret savings?
Free bottle of Toyota's finest Mango Hand Soap?

FWIW, if anybody is taking advantage of the sale to buy a new brake booster, the dealers wont ship them when they arrive so it has to be picked up... Which was not convenient for me because I ordered from a dealer a state away because their price was a tad better. Reason being because the brake booster comes with fluid and either they or FEDEX / UPS won't ship hazardous chemicals?

I ended up having to cancel that order and purchase from a more local dealer which cost me a few extra bucks but apparently according to them it should be ready for pick up tomorrow so i'm still happy.

Haven't multiple people throughout this thread used these sales to purchase brake boosters?

I even mentioned that to the guy in the parts department and he went to go speak with his boss and he also said they won't ship direct to my home address and it had to be pick up only.

I called the other dealer that I was forced to go with because they are closer and they mentioned they also wouldn't ship to me and I had to pick up at the store.

I don't know if this is something new or what. I've never heard anybody mention this in the forum and I think I woulda noticed if someone said so.

They'll ship brake fluid, but not brake boosters because of the brake fluid. That doesn't make a lot of sense. I just emailed my contact at Valdosta Toyota, they're a TPCO dealership. I'll let you know what he says about shipping brake boosters.

Awesome, thanks! Won't do me any good now but at least if it's true people will know and avoid my conundrum.

I honestly didn't even think the brake booster came pre-filled with brake fluid. I did see the note but assumed it just meant it included the reservoir or something.

This is 100% spot on. I got a rad, CVs and a rear drive shaft (along with many other things) from them in perfect shape. Valdosta wouldn't ship me the rear driveshaft, but Serra did and it arrived just fine. They will do brake boosters as well @100d ua , I got one of those as well! haha

And yes my addiction here continues as well. Just ordered up all the parts for the fuel pump replacement as well. Not sure if I will change right away, but want to keep in the truck just in case.

Perfect timing! Just what I need, bought my son another Camry for his daily use and it needs a lot of stuff starting with Radiator.
Anyone had any issues with radiator being shipped? I may just buy a Denso unit locally but the other stuff will get it from them. Thanks for the update.

Although I can find the same price at other dealers, I purchased from Serra because of their packing process. Its worth the wait. Also, I purchased a brake booster from Serra a few sales ago. No problem shipping it and I'm fairly sure it shipped dry.

Valdosta Toyota got back to me and they said they won't ship the brake boosters either "due to how sensitive the sensors are"
It looks like Serra might be the only one.
