I could kiss you right now I’ve been hitting refresh on that damn website for the past 2 weeks almost every other hour.sale is back up!
I've ordered from Fred Anderson (Raleigh, NC), and Serra. Fred Anderson shipped much faster. Fred Anderson is running the sale again too. (No affiliation). What retailer do you guys prefer? I have used Serra Toyota in Birmingham but I am still waiting for an order from Oct from them. Any recommendations on best dealer to use to take advantage of this sale?
You may get faster. But nobody packs and repacks, as well as Erice at Sierra Toyota. He's the only one, I buy radiators, FDS (AKA CV's) , brake master and many others parts. Parts that always get damaged when shipped, if not packed by Eric. He's perfected packing, to an art form.I've ordered from Fred Anderson (Raleigh, NC), and Serra. Fred Anderson shipped much faster. FWIW, if anybody is taking advantage of the sale to buy a new brake booster, the dealers wont ship them when they arrive so it has to be picked up... Which was not convenient for me because I ordered from a dealer a state away because their price was a tad better.
I ended up having to cancel that order and purchase from a more local dealer which costed me a few extra bucks but apparently according to them it should be ready for pick up tomorrow.
I even mentioned that to the guy in the parts department and he went to go speak with his boss and he also said they won't ship direct to my home address and it had to be pick up only.Haven't multiple people throughout this thread used these sales to purchase brake boosters?
Awesome, thanks! Won't do me any good now but at least if it's true people will know and avoid my conundrum. They'll ship brake fluid, but not brake boosters because of the brake fluid. That doesn't make a lot of sense. I just emailed my contact at Valdosta Toyota, they're a TPCO dealership. I'll let you know what he says about shipping brake boosters.

Valdosta Toyota got back to me and they said they won't ship the brake boosters either "due to how sensitive the sensors are"Awesome, thanks! Won't do me any good now but at least if it's true people will know and avoid my conundrum.
I honestly didn't even think the brake booster came pre-filled with brake fluid. I did see the note but assumed it just meant it included the reservoir or something.
